1.
So, they've raised $5.5 million with this campaign. How much of that will go to actual research? Next year, unless they come up with another stunt, it's not likely to increase their donations. Something like the breast cancer walks accomplish a lot more, including the actual raising of funds by those actually walking. It's not really the same thing.

I don't know anyone who has never heard of ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease).

I honestly think people will think that others will think they're generous, charitable, etc because they do the challenge. I'm more impressed by someone who just donates anonymously and humbly.
stop complaining about what others do and get your checkbook out...
  2. Can anyone tell me about the quality of the photos you received when buying the package? I ask because I'm a professional photographer. I would like to receive CR2s or dngs, but I'm assuming they only give you jpgs? How many MB on average are the photos?

    Hahahaa

  3. Does he really intensely want to go on the cruise? It seems to me that if he does, he would be seeing you and bargaining as best as he is able to work out a deal with you, any deal.

If he has not come to you with a concilatory offer or some bargaining chip, maybe his heart isn't in it. It could be something as quirky as not wanting to cruise with his aunt or uncle. Perhaps he'd rather wait until he can cruise with friends his own age.

I may be entirely off base with these ideas, but I know I have one son who is a champion, ardent negotiator when he wants something from his parents. Your nephew hasn't taken that initative yet, so I do wonder about how committed he is to the cruise.

he really needs to be bargaining with his teachers and school, the cruise is not the important thing when you have aa kid not graduating

  4. I am sorry to hear this. I m also taking my grandson on a graduation cruise. a few weeks ago he got a letter saying he was failing math... we went to teacher and he went to teacher and tthey made a plan to get his grade up..and he did...its a c average now. anyway we never spoke about the cruise through tthis...it wasn't important for him to worry about that..he needed to concentrate on his studies. goodluck.

  5. 1st I know it is over. lol but I have a question. what happens if you want to upgrade or make changes to your cruise and you have the 3/4 person free? does that stay that way? its probably a simple answer but I can't seem to figure it out. I am not changing because I have my perfect room I wanted( 7408 Freedom) but I am still wondering. thanks

  6. hi, are there any kids? or all adults. personally I think 4 in an interior is awful crowded. O know people say that they don't spend much time in their room but the time you spend there is way too small. maybe a sale will come and you can upgrade for not much more money. (fingers-crossed):)
