What are Disney people? As for not fond of being around children. Celebrity and Princess are low cost and basically child free. Also very nice ships to offer.

Princess was anything but kid free in July.
Because they don't expect a lot of kids there were no kid free zones.. The hot tubs were kid soup.

  2. Holy cow, that's rough!

I've been through storms but all my cruises have made it out to sea... I've certainly missed a port or two to wind or medical emergencies.

So let me rephrase... Man I wish I was booked on one of the tree currently cancelled cruises!

Me personally would get the balcony.

It is an extension of your cabin.

I spend alot of time out there.

Wifey is getting ready, I am  out there having a cocktail or 4.

Wake up early walk out and get fresh air.

Room Service Coffee early on the balcony.

Pulling in Port on the Balcony,

    Leaving Port on the Balcony.

read a book on the balcony.

No seats on deck. Always a seat on my balcony.

In the cabin, Sleep and Shower.

Holy cow, we must have been seperated at birth.

  4. Man I love this ship... I wonder if they will let me bring my own soft tip darts for the dart board... theirs ahem are not very good.
When onboard my wife knows where to find me... sitting in Red Frog or with my feet on the rail of my veranda.

I am looking forward to trying a guys burger.

  5. Oh sure... make me do the math.. my upcoming cruise is 300 a night, almost exactly, per person!

Good thing I really like the restaurants and bars. My wife loves their spa... her spa bill rivals my bar bill.

Can't wait to try Princess this summer. I sail Carnival more than Disney.. Disney has better service but Carnival throws stuff at me if I'm spending anywhere near this..

  6. I love cruising Disney! My wife and I still take a cruise with them every other year or so..

    I also cruise other lines.

When I cruise Disney I get an "obstructed" view veranda with a big portal wall.

When I cruise any other line a get a suite with a veranda and usually save a chunk of change. I love my Disney vacations and until they are no longer worth it to me I'll keep signing up for them.

The best customer service I have ever had was on a Disney cruise..

They find a way to wow me every time...

i enjoy the other lines but they don't come close on service so far...

I'm not quite understanding--you were no longer worried when you found out he jumped on purpose? I suppose you meant that he deserved whatever bad thing happened to him, but what about others? Don't you think he had parents, possibly grandparents, possibly siblings who could have been devastated if worst came to worst? Don't you think there would have been a pall over the whole ship if say he had died or even been seriously medically affected?

Yes, he deserves whatever punishment Carnival might mete out such as fining him for the cost of the rescue and/or banning him from cruises, but no longer worrying about his fate seems over the top. I hope I am misinterpreting what you wrote.

Why should we care about that? Clearly the young man didn't.

  8. I guess I'm just lucky... I get mine from the parking lot of Walmart :)

I go looking for that little old lady w/ the ice chest...

Whenever I go to Mexico I have to get off the tourist strip to eat. I'm spoiled by having great Mexican food in my area.
