Can you comment about the sun deck/pool area? Was it crowded on sea days? Hard to find a chair? Did you visit the adult only pool area? We're going on this ship in August, can't wait!

I'd love to hear general comments about Princess Cays, availability of activities, areas for kids vs. for adults, and any other tips. We have been to Disney's private island before but not the Princess one.

Thank you both! I do like a promenade deck that you can walk around, and also like being able to lie in a deck chair and nap, but I'm not sure that the CP has deck chairs - does anyone know?

We are going to be on this ship in August. Our previous experience was on the Royal Princess, and it was wonderful. Can anyone comment on the differences we should expect between the ships (aside from the fact that the Royal is bigger)? One of the things I personally loved about the Royal was movies under the stars, and I understand the Caribbean P. has that too. Many thanks.

Thanks for raising the issue of traveler's checks - I had been wondering about that. We brought some to Italy a few years ago but had a lot of trouble finding somewhere to cash them. Can you pay Rome in Limo directly with the traveler's checks? Do they give you change? Do you buy the traveler's checks in Euros (you must have to do this, right?) Any details on how to do this would be very much appreciated!

Has anyone used RIL for their Pisa/Lucca tour? We have been to Florence before and are looking for something different on that day.

Also, how does it feel with 4 people in the sedan as opposed to the minivan? We have three relatively small people (myself and my two teen girls) and my regular-sized husband!

Overall, did you enjoy the tours? Any ports/tours that you could have skipped? It sounds like in the heat of the summer (we are thinking about an August trip) that perhaps some of the tours are very tiring - but maybe with the private tour they are taking care of you so it rolls along well?
