We have done it before. Before upgrading to premium, I would try the value plan first.
OK and it is just the difference in price between the social and whichever one we choose?

21st cruise next month and we know we can unplug so don't need a lecture on that. This trip we need to keep in contact back home and purchased the Social plan. If this plan doesn't work for us does anyone know if you can just pay the difference between the two to upgrade to premium? Sailing on the Celebration.
Thanks

We're with you. Generally we only sail from mid-September (after school starts) through April. Less kids and less college students trying to prove how drunk they can get. Of course the down side to that for some folks is rougher weather in the Gulf and Caribbean, but we actually enjoy a rocking ship.
We like to sail from the first couple weeks of December, then January, February, and the beginning of March. Not a lot of kids and the adults seem to behave themselves. The prices are a little better also.

Did I miss the rest of the review? It was awesome but I don't see the rest anywhere.

That stinks. Never had this issue, but we just use the kiosk. Never have had to go to guest services.

Sorry you were disappointed and my wife has to have GF also. We have sailed many times with RC, NCL, and Carnival. Carnival does the best with GF sailing hands down and just stay completely away from NCL. All you have to do is ask and they pretty much make it happen. Pasta, bread (not the best), pizza, and in the main dining room they can make most of the next days meal GF. We even had the head chef make a point to come out and talk with her as the next nights menu was going to be hard for them to make some of the items GF. He made her a special meal and desert.

Well this answered my question. I'm not too happy about it since we have $75 from Carnival and $75 from our PVP for loyalty that we will have to split with a cabin mate that will have their own account. I don't mind splitting the first $75 but not the second. We also have a shareholder credit luckily that can go just on our account.

We are planning on going to Orient Beach on the 27th. It is a little concerning that there are not a bunch of taxis waiting to take you back. You never know what can happen but that is the chances you take. The nude beach does not concern us and I personally think people should do their own research before going down and causing problems for them.

1) No guests under 18- They have already done that.
2) No class system. No separate dining rooms and lounges for suites. If you have a suite the amenities will be included within the suite.
3)No jeans, shorts or t-shirts at major dinner venues. You don’t have to wear tuxedos or suits but don’t dress like going to your neighbor's BBQ for dinner.
4) All inclusive for drinks, food, tips, wifi, spa and entertainment.
5) I personally don’t care about the shore excursions but if 1 per port is included that would be ok with me.
6) I know this is a stretch but a cigar lounge with good ventilation. You don’t like cigars don’t use it.
7) Specialty bars- Martini, microbrews, etc
8) High-quality comedians, dance lounge that is not so loud you can’t talk to everyone.
9) One thing that cruise lines lack IMO is good casual deserts. Maybe have some quality deserts on board.
10) Maybe a brick oven pizzeria. Find a quality dough and sauce and pay them for the recipe.
11) Enforce the rules set by the company. No looking the other way.
Who knows what they have in mind but I am looking forward to trying them out.

You can purchase the alcohol package for just one in this case. You just have to call to purchase it.

Question or rather, statement : when you book, you should be able to book under your name and leave the other four spots unnamed until closer to the cruise. We did this and for our cruise in November my sister still has only her name in the bookings. She has not filled in the names or any information for the other three people. For all practical purposes, she could slot anyone into those spots once she does have to name them. If she were to cancel, her name is the only one on the booking .

So the problem with doing this is if the cruise should sell out your sister would be the only person in the cabin. Without the extra names you only pay for the cabin and then the port charges for one person. When you add other travelers thats when you pay for the rest of the port charges. We have one cabin booked that is that way and our TA advised us to be careful the closer the cruise date comes up without having the name.

🤣🤣🤣🤣 Don't think that would work out well for the cruiselines, being they are in business to make money.
Then people would say why can't I purchase for 1/2 day being I'm in Port the other half. Kinda like someone having their cake and eating it to.
But I hear you!
It would be nice if they allowed it to be used on their private Islands like RCCL does.

You have to walk clear to the end of Orient to see anyone nude.

I'm not sure I understand what you are asking. All I know is that they will only pay for the fee the airline charges to change your flight, but not for any difference in airfare.
Bob,
So we have to cancel our flights as we are unable to change them and use our points. $150 charge to cancel can keep the points. So I assuming that they will pay the cancellation fee since it is not a change fee?

Actually no you don't have tonpay for the redbull. They will make you a redbull vodka as it is included in the package. Redbull seperate is not included. Had them several times.

We don't care what company we use as we have sailed several and are platinum on Carnival also. As long as Im on vacation it is fine but we have 10 cabins and airfare to rebook so its just not that easy.

Sure they are. Just be creative and order a Vodka and Redbull with the vodka on the side.

Unfortunately we were scheduled for the cruise that was cancelled. Not really giving us much of an option but to cancel. Almost all the cabins on other ships around that time are already booked. Even thought about going out of Galveston and since this was cancelled the Liberty went from over 300 cabins available yesterday to now a select few inside cabins. Looking at the Freedom but it leaves a day early and can't get the cabin we booked. We used our skymiles for our flight and either we use them or cancel and get nothing in return. Going to have to look at other cruise lines I guess.

When looking at the menus that were posted Shiitake goes after Basil. Thats the order for the menus for the days from the last known itinerary.

The only changes I could find was that Shiitake goes after Basil.

Been looking for several months and none have come up. One of the travelers said he would post them when returning and he has not done it yet. I can't find the post else I would message him.
Sorry did not see this was older.

Over 800 calories :o Margaritas made with mix are bad too.
Calories don't count on a cruise. 😆

I have heard it is fairly fast and when I searched and it sounds like the Mardi Gras, Celebration, and Panorama have been upgraded to Starlink. But you never know if that is true.
