My husband just did the scuba excursion thru our ship (Carnival Conquest) a few weeks ago.  They picked up directly from our ship, and went straight out to the reefs, all gear onboard with everyone's names on them.  Worked very well.  Not sure if it was sea sport but I am guessing it was.  He really enjoyed it, and saving the tender time back and forth was worth the $$.

How many people were on the dive excursion with you?

  2. I second VIP Diving in Bonaire.  My sister and I are both PADI certified and we dove with them on our 3/2/20 stop in Bonaire when we were sailing with Crown Princess.  It was just the two of us and one other guy from our ship.  They met us just outside the pier exit, drove us to their shop to outfit us and then drove us to the dive site.  Many of the dive sites in Bonaire are shore dives.  It was spectacular diving since the island has been practicing reef conservation since the early '70s.

  3. My daughter and I did this tour, booked with another cruise line, and enjoyed it.  It wasn't very rough the day we did it.  The tubes we were in had bottoms in them but you did have to do butts up when it was shallow to avoid rock bumps.

  4. Leaving next Friday on Adventure, have 3 rooms: Myself and my wife, my son and my daughter, my mom and dad.

My kids decided to let me know that they REFUSE to sleep in the same room together!

I originally booked my cruise with myself and son in one room, my wife and daughter in the next connecting room and my parents 4 doors forward. Booked it that way specifically, so we would have an adult and child in each room.

Wife and I have Deluxe Beverage Plan, have a couple excursions booked at Coco Cay. Wife and I are doing wave runner, kids doing Teen Adventure whatever...Parents have NO plans or bev. package.

I called RCCI today to see if it was possible to move everyone around from original booking to:

    Grandmother/Granddaughter in one room

    Grandfather/Grandson in connecting room

Wife and I 4 doors forward.

They said it was possible, but that I'd have to cancel and rebook the drink packages and excursions, but wouldn't be able to get the sale price that we originally paid..........

So, I understand that they would have no problem with me in my parents room, and my parents in my room, but I'm wondering if I can get my kids to get on my CC for incidentals, and also, how bout the room keys? Are the sea pass cards with our pictures on it our room keys? If so, how do I have them switch the sea pass card with my picture on it to open the door to the room I'm sleeping in?????

I know it's a lot of confusion, but this whole process of having to be responsible for this 6 person cruise has been nothing but confusion.

Thanks so much for any and all help!!!

We are always switching around who sleeps it the different rooms we’ve booked. You will get your Sea Pass for the room you are booked in at check in at the terminal on boarding day. Once aboard the ship, go to Guest Services and ask for pass cards to allow entry in the room you need extra cards for. Each of you will have a Sea Pass with your photo and account info and a simple key card to get in the room you’re sleeping in. You don’t need to switch everyone around on the paperwork.

  5. That would be ok because we're more interested in just using the resort facilities (pool, beach chairs, sports equipment, etc.) Having access to a room would be a nice plus, but it's not necessary. Cost wise it just seems that we would get more for less by booking a room, even if we didn't use it.

If the resort room price is cheaper than the day pass for 4 persons, it should be ok to reserve/pay for a room. Have you looked at Resort for a Day web site? They sometimes offer different packages at the same resort.

  6. Would love to hear the pros and cons of just booking a room at the resort of our choice versus buying day passes.

We are a family of 4 (two adults, one pre-teen and one teenager) and just want access to some resort facilities while we're in port for the day. I've noticed that a lot of day passes include extras like food and drink, but we don't necessarily need those things.

Some day passes can be 2 to 3 times the price of a hotel room when all is said and done, so it makes much more economic sense for us to just book a room.

Is this practice frowned upon or am I missing something?

You may not be able to check in to a room in the morning, so you wouldn’t be able to use the room on a cruise schedule.

  7. So there would really be no reason to use it coming back at all if I'm just coming back on the cruise to Florida then NY?

The Mobile Passport usually has a much shorter line for customs at the disembarkation terminal. We have used it several times in Fort Lauderdale when exiting the ship. You need to complete the questions, have your passports scanned into app and you can do this ahead of time. Then, when you're ready to exit ship, hit submit on the app and it will send you your approval. After that, collect your luggage and follow signs for the Mobile Passport when entering the customs hall.

  8. Ardastra Gardens is not within walking distance from the pier. It is about 3.3 km from the pier and not in a location that is easily walked to. It’s not hard to grab a taxi and the person working the front entrance at the gardens will call a return taxi for you when you’re done. We have done this before and it was an enjoyable couple of hours.

  9. Guest Alcohol Policy:

The minimum drinking age for all alcoholic beverages on all Celebrity Cruises ships is twenty* one (21) years of age.

However, on ships in Europe, South America and Australia, where the legal drinking age is lower than twenty* one (21), a parent who is sailing with his or her son(s) and/or daughter(s) who is between the ages of eighteen (18) to twenty (20), may sign a waiver allowing the eighteen(18) to twenty (20) year old to consume alcoholic beverages. The eighteen(18) to twenty (20) year*old must agree to comply with Celebrity Cruises’ policies, including among other things, agreeing to not provide alcoholic beverages to any other person, regardless of age. Restrictions apply, and this policy is subject to change without notice. If a guest celebrates their 21st birthday during the cruise, the guest may there after ask the Front Desk Manager to modify the ship's records to permit their consumption of alcohol during the remainder of cruise. The guest will be required to appear at the Guest Relations Desk with his/her parent or guardian and must present a government issued form of identification to establish that the guest's 21st birthday was celebrated during the cruise. An individual’s age on the date of sailing determines his or her status for the entire cruise vacation

    .

Guests are not allowedtobringbeer or hard liquor onboard for consumptionor any other use. Guests wishing to bring personal wine onboard with them at the beginning of the cruise may do so, limited to two (2) bottles per stateroom, but when consumed in any shipboard restaurant, bar, or dining venue, each bottle shall be subject to a corkage fee of $25.00. Alcoholic beverages that are purchased in ports of calls or from the onboard shops will be stored by the ship and delivered to guest's staterooms on the last day of the sailing. Security may inspect containers (water bottles, soda bottles, mouthwash, luggage etc.)and will dispose of containers holding alcohol. Celebrity Cruises’ Guest Conduct Policy may be enforced, up to and including disembarkation, if a guest violates any alcohol policy. Guests under the age of twenty*one(21) will not have alcohol returned to them. Guests who violate any alcohol policies, (over consume, provide alcohol to people under age twenty*one (21), demonstrate irresponsible behavior, or attempt to conceal alcoholic items at security and or luggage check points or any other time), may be disembarked or not allowed to board, at their own expense, in accordance with our Guest Conduct Policy. Celebrity Cruises reserves the right to revoke or otherwise restrict drinking privileges of any guest, regardless of age. Even if all criteria are met, shipboard personnel may elect, and have the option to, not grant the waiver or any such drinking privileges. The waiver may not apply when the vessel is in certain territorial waters.

It doesn’t say the OP is 18. That’s their CC name.

  10. Thank you for the info. As we are from uk i can not use this link do you know if this is available for all passengers. Im Ruby member princess and my mum is Ellite so any extras would help. Thanks Again for your help.

You can probably go to the UK MSC website and click on Voyager Club and there should be an option for "Status Match". On the US website it takes you to a form to fill out.

If this doesn't work, call your UK MSC phone number and ask about the Status Match Program.

  11. My sister and I are considering booking the Divina for an 11-Night Caribbean itinerary in January 2019. The past two years we have sailed on Regal and Royal Princess for our annual "Sister Cruise".

We are looking at YC Deluxe Suite. How does that compare to a Club Class Mini-Suite on Princess?

We really liked the Princess Live venue for nightly game shows. Does Divina offer game shows in the evenings too?

How does the Thermal Spa on Divina compare to the Enclave on Regal/Royal?

I would appreciate any input I can get from those of you that have sailed on either/both. Thanks!

  12. Changed my password at least 10 times and it still doesn’t recognize it. Maybe it’s time to go back to Princess (after my 4 currently booked RCCL cruises). I spent 2 hours waiting to speak with someone and on hold last week and I refuse to do that again.

I love Princesses website! It's the best that I've encountered of all the big cruise lines. I can't get on RCCL either today.

  13. We’re on Adventure now. Beautiful renovations. Staying in Jr. Suite 9264. New bedding, all new carpeting, new pale gray sofa, 2 upholstered chairs in aqua fabric, New draperies with coordinating pale gray/silver sheers.
