  1. I had read about the new "pick it up the morning of debarkation" requirement, so I was incredibly surprised when I bought liquor on the Sunshine last month and they delivered it to my room the evening before. There were people who bought liquor on the last day, and they were able to pick it up that same evening (it wasn't delivered to their room).

Maybe i'll get lucky on the Valor next week!!!

  2. I was on the Valor 5 weeks ago and I bought 5 bottles. we was supposed to pick it up at 6 am. there was several bottles in the lounge. mine was there but there was several people waiting for theirs. we got out of the lounge at 6:30 and people were really getting mad. I don't blame them.:(

as for as customs, we walked off the ship and through customs with no problem.:) the custom man asked how much liquor we had and I said 5 bottles and he said have a good day!

I guess it is hit and miss on rather you pay customs or not!

buy the way, the Valor was one of our best cruises out of 20.:)

Ok I thanks for that bit of info I just was wondering if customs was on the ship.

  3. St. Maarten-bernards tours was amazing!!

/St. Kitts-Beware once you get into the shopping area you will be attacked by people trying to get you to take a picture with a monkey and then tell you its 20.00 and some can get a bit pushy

/San Juan-Hopefully your not arriving early like we did at 7am nothing really opened until like 9:30 or so and we just walked around until then and hit the fort and then ate at a local spot which was awesome.

Conquest was amazing ship and had a blast guys burgers and blue iguana was the places to eat on the lido deck when open.

  4. I am going on a cruise in October for my honeymoon and I collect the Jumbo bottles of liquor and was wondering if anyone had pictures of what maybe they offered on the valor usually they have them in the glass cases outside the fun shops? I am looking for the Jumbo Ciroc Bottle! Thanks

  5. Ok so I am expected to arrive Oct 19th and I am taking a group of friends and family roughly 30 ppl along. I am interested in renting the Villa mainly for my mother who doesn't really like spending hours in the heat so the AC is a nice treat. I notice it says good for up to 8 people and then each additional is 49.99 up to 18 ppl max.

My question is can the 8 ppl rotate out lets say to mainly take showers if needed before heading back to ship? Do they issues wristbands? I am not worried about priority tendering as most of my party has FTTF and thats included? ANY INFO WOULD BE HELPFUL! THANKS

  6. Ask away, I currently have a large group 36 ppl going on the Valor in October for my post wedding vacation..... Seeing I had the most experience with cruising and I love it I took on the hassle of organizing it. Not much to it aside from getting everyone to put down their deposit once you start your actual group with carnival. If you book 8 or more rooms you as the group leader will get some sort of OBC once you set sail just an added bonus to dealing with some of the issues. I think from the time you call you have 14 days for your group to put down deposit. and then just make sure its paid in full by deadline. I'am sure you have loads more questions so ask away!

  7. I would just call carnival and explain what room type and all the guest names explain you want to pay your share and provide payment method and in the past the other guest had 24 hours to call in and provide their payment method for the cruise. Everyone would have access to their booking info online and when it comes time to sail provide another method for your Sail and Sign card account!
