Hi, I was unable to find a post regarding this so hoping you could all chime in. We are sailing out of the UK - have two rooms booked each with 2 per room. Both parties in one of the rooms want to cancel and another friend wants to come. Prices are considerably higher (by 3K). It is possible to remove one of the existing people from the original reservation, add the new friend and then have the last primary no show? Just don't want the cruise re-priced at the port. I called Royal and they said it would not be re-priced but I don't always trust the reps so thought I would ask if anyone here had experience with a no-show of the primary booking guest(s). Thank you!

We informally 'added' one additional person to our cabana and she just joined us from the Beach Club whenever she wanted (meaning we told the cabana attendant we may have 9 instead of 8). We did not need a wrist band to get back to the cabanas and there was no formal check. We also had friends swim over from the beach club just to say hi and hang out with us for a little while. It was much more relaxed than I thought it would be and we never had to provide a list of names of who would be using the cabana --- in fact they allowed a friend of ours to go onto the cabana before I even checked in, he just told them my last name, which worked out well.

They will allow an additional (or two if I remember correctly) for a fee of $50 per person.

We wanted #16 and it was perfect! #11 would be one of my choices as well.

Hi, We just had an OTW Cabana and it was a great experience. To answer your question.. We had a Jr. Suite and did not have concierge access but I would imagine if you are in a suite your concierge can handle the logistics for you so these answers apply to a non-suite: 1. You find out what cabana you have when you get on board. 2. We went directly to the excursion desk when we got on board and asked for a specific cabana. They moved us without issue. We were one of the first to board and were lucky in that the cabanas were not sold out. 3. All cabana locations are good but some are great - I was particular about the cabana I wanted and was glad to make the change. Good luck and enjoy your day. Hi, During a sale we purchased a OTW Cabana as well as Beach Club 'reservations'. We decided to keep the cabana but have friends who don't have beach club reservations and prices are much higher now - does anyone know how they handle the reservations for the Beach Club? I know the cabana we will get the 8 wristbands and I believe they don't track the names of people in the cabana, we simply use the wrist bands to go in and out of the Beach Club/Cabana area. Is the Beach Club similar or because we had to actually assign names to the reservation do they go off of names? Trying to reassign the lower priced Beach Club reservations to friends and Royal customer service is saying we have to cancel and re-purchase, excursion team has not returned an email we sent so I figured I would check with some of the experts here. Quick add that we have 8 ppl in the cabana so giving these friends a wristband is not an option. Thank you!
