If you really want the early dinner seating, keep calling RCL. That happened to us one time, when we were told that early dinner was closed, but I kept calling them, at least once a week, and we finally secured the early seating.

I recommend Beulah's Tours in St. Kitts....excellent reviews on Trip Advisor.

I just received an email from RCI that the AK schedule for 2015 is out.

The Radiance balcony cabin that we are in for 2014 is $200 cheaper than same time period for 2015.

The new 2015 schedule for Alaska has been up for a week already!

We've decided on staying at the Best Western Evergreen Inn at the airport for the day prior to the cruise. It's $80 plus tax and includes breakfast, plus the shuttle to & from the airport. Then, we'll take the light train the next morning into the Seattle cruise port.

What is the best transportation from the Seattle airport to cruise port 91?

Peach martini! I think it's the most expensive mixed drink of their menu in the bars...something around $10.50 each.

New England is wonderful no matter when you go. Who knows with the crazy weather, though when you will see peak. Doesn't matter. The amazing food, scenery, shopping, etc etc will make up for it!

We did this cruise one year in July and one year in August. You are correct that it's wonderful no matter the time of year!

We booked our Alaskan cruise for May of 2015 this past Tuesday.

I just booked SpringHill Suites by the Marriot for the night b4 my cruise. I did a lot of research looking for best price, downtown close to port. I have not stayed there before but it looked really nice. Its $149 and Free Hot/cold breakfast. 1/2 mile from space needle and only 1 mile from port. They also provide a free shuttle that will pick you up at the rail. The light rail is only $2.75 from the airport to West Lake. West Lake is where the shuttle picks you up to take you to the hotel and that is about 1 mile from hotel. All is walking distance and no need for car. My second choice was going to be Holiday Inn Express but this was closer to the space needle and pikes market and I heard its much cleaner :). Hope this helps you.

We're favoring this hotel also for our late May cruise out of Seattle.

Our daughter & son-in-law just gave us one of those RCL gift certificates for Christmas!

I'd recommended something that includes the turtle farm and a visit to "Hell"!

We were able to board between 11 and 11:30 when we on the Jewel in September.

For Antigua, we toured with Lawrence of Antigua. He gave us a full tour of the island, beautiful vistas, the dockyard, and time at the beach. He was a fabulous tour guide, and it was a great value!

We also used Lawrence of Antigua when we were there this past October....excellent!

Try the Best Western Condado. We stayed there pre-cruise in September and my daughter & son-in-law stayed there pre-cruise in October. Rate is $107 per night, plus tax.

We're reserved for Best Western Condado...$110 per night, plus tax. Great reviews!

Beulah has gone to the UK for summer and won't be back on island until September. I understand that one of the taxi drivers who works with her is still doing tours for her whilst she is away.

Do yourself a favor and wait another year before you cruise. Everyone will enjoy it more if your child is a little older. Whenever you decide to cruise, I would suggest that you consider one of the Disney cruises. Disney is a far better choice for young kids.

I definitely agree about waiting and going the Disney route.
