Sailed on the Getaway last October and had no problems. You might be able to ask for a topper but I found the beds to be quite comfortable. Of course there is always the split in the middle.

FYI. Hotels in Rome do not always have elevators. We took private transportation from the port to Rome with no issues but found out wife had booked a 2 room suite on the 4th floor. 99 steps from front door to the room. Very nice hotel but a challenge getting there. -
Yes, very windy but tolerable and of course depends on which side of the ship is in the wind
