WE ENJOYED THESE FACILITIES ON THE LARGER OOSTERDAM HOWEVER

WITH NO POOL IN THE THERMAL AREA ON THE SMALLER VOLENDAM HAVE RESERVATIONS AND WOULD APPRECIATE COMMENTS. :confused:

My wife and I are on your cruise and will probably do the ship transfer this time as Rex hotel is well located.

We did the CC organised Zoom tour last year ( whilst on Amsterdam )

all went very well.

We will be on the Volendam arriving in Phu My on March 10, 2014 I have been reading some scary things on CC about doing your own tour and getting back to the ship on time. I have booked a private tour with Zoom of saigon private tour. I am wondering if it would be safer to take the HAL shuttle into the city and start a tour their. The problem is HAL says they will drop off at a central location. Anyone have where that central location may be?

Thanks JB sounds fantastic.We will definitely catch a taxi or share a van to Hoi An then ask to see Marble Mountain and China Beach.

While researching I narrowed my choice down to Phuket Sail Tours but in the end we did a small group tour to Phuket Town which was excellent. There are reviews of Phuket Sails on Trip Advisor.

Would be very interested to

hear why

a) Phuket town was excellent as we are stopping at Phuket again

and last time earlier this year we could not wait to pass Phuket town to get to the other side -- Patong beach etc

b) Did you dock or have a tender.

Hopefully you can make our stay in Phuket Town excellent :D

Would greatly appreciate comments on main deck categry K cabins on the Oosterdam.

We will be on HA spending 1st Nov at Komoda Island 9am to 3pm.

We were going to take tender ashore then arrange to see the sights.
