  1. I got the email today...

"Hello, this is Royal Caribbean International. We would like to provide you with important information regarding your upcoming sailing on Allure of the Seas, on Sunday, November 2, from Port Everglades.

  2. Hi everyone,

We are staying in the above hotel for 4 days before our tour starts. It says the Edgeware Road tube is across the street. Can you tell me what area of London this hotel is in? Is there anything to visit around that area? We have guidebooks that tell us which bus/subwaytrain to take to get to places but we aren't sure which area we are in. Thanks so much for your help.

As an aside, after having stayed in the Metropole a couple of times the rooms on the elevated westway flyover side of the hotel can suffer from traffic noise.

If you are a Hhonors gold or above when you arrive you may be directed to the executive lounge to check in. Just ask if they have any rooms available on the opposite side of the hotel adjacent to Harbert Road. ;)

    keep in touch.

    Regards.

  3. It looks like there is a cleaning rig stored right by that balcony. If you look at the following picture cabin 8666 is the last cabin on the side, three decks down from the Windjammer (the bottom of the rig starts on deck 8). Plus there will be a solid bulkhead wall on the left side of the balcony.

It also looks to me that the ladder will be centre of the balcony as the steel on the left side of the balcony as you look in you can see a gap between the steel and the ladder where on deck 10 the cradle they work in is tight up against the steel.

    Regards.

  4. I finally got round to uploading our pics and here's a pic of the sunbed tops I mentioned, never seen them before.

And one of the reasons why we love the aft cabins, this was our departure from Dominica.

  5. Not sure about the loungers as we've never had an aft cabin before. But as they are showing in most photos I've seen, hopefully they are there already. If not, we'll just ask to see if we can get some.

We just did a B2B on Serenade, had 8172 aft cabin, and I am not sure it was because of our diamond status but not only did we have 2 sunbeds they also had a matress top on them which made the really confortable to lay on  The cabin next to us on one side had jsut the 2 standard beds and on the other side only 1 sunbed :(

This was our first visit to an aft and we are sold on them, booking the same 2 weeks next year but in the corner :D

    Regards.
