Where did you see this information? Helps to fact check if we have sources.

Oh and yea, the place can be a bit of a bottleneck during rush hour, so in all seriousness, they may be trying to optimize the entrance area or something. Who knows..

Various FB groups no where reliable, that's why I am asking here.

Sailing on the Oasis of the seas June 30th...and 1 of my cabins is a guaranteed cabin. My sailing is sold out...but no assigned cabin yet. With everything I'm hearing about RCCL overselling, I'm starting to get nervous. Am I over reacting?

We are sailing on June 16, our sailing has been sold out. We just got our inside guarantee assignment today.

Agree, any blocks of cabins TAs were holding are long released since before final payment released as the other poster said.

If the cruise is showing sold out there still may be some no shows which could be used for royal ups. That's about the only way cabins are released last minute. That's why they say the royal up could happen after you board. Little to no chance unless you bid a lot if sold out imo.

I just checked my June Oasis sailing. A TA is showing 6 one bedroom grand suites and the Royal page is showing them as sold out.

  4. I have been told that even though a cruise may show as sold out on Royals site, that may or may not be true because TAs purchase/hold blocks of rooms. If this is true, how long do TAs hold the rooms before releasing them? I could be making all kinds of wrong assumptions but I would assume those are used for Royals Ups?

I would suggest probably getting a notarized letter from him stating he’s ok with the trip and such. Maybe give more info such as ages of kids so others can answer, hopefully with experience, unlike my just thinking out loud.

Sorry the kids are GS (9) and GD (4). The custody agreement on my gives him the visitation mentioned above. There is no deviation, no extra time, he can't even take them to his house.

  6. Question... We will be sailing with our daughter and her two children. We do not have time to get passports. She is using their birth certificates which have their father's name on them. Does she need anything else other than their birth certificates. There is a custody agreement, he geta them for 3 hours every other Saturday and Sunday, the cruise is not over his weekend.

  7. Had to get a new seapass card today and I wasn’t the only one. I was told that they no longer print directly on the card. They print on a thing piece of plastic that sticks on the card. It also peels off the card along with all of your information. Several people were getting new cards today, one saying it was their second time.
the aqua 80 show was a must see.
    laser tag was fun.

  8. We have eaten at:

cafe 150 or whatever it’s called $150 later it was just ok no need to go back.
playmakers - the wings (Jamaican jerk and super hot) and the burger was the best of each at land or sea

port side BBQ - entirely too much food. We got the 3 meat special with two sides and hubby wanted to try the pulled pork sandwich. We didn’t finish it all but it was good.
El loco fresh - I had the nachos. It was good. I’ll eat there again.

We will be on the 8/5 sailing too 🙂

I will be interested in what you think of Coastal Kitchen as this is the 1st time we will be doing this.

I personally am not a fan of coastal kitchen. My husband loves it. I have been to costal on harmony, anthem and now oasis. It’s ok way better than the main dining room but nothing to write home about.
