  1. If your hotel has shuttles to the airport, take the shuttle to the airport then catch Cortran at the airport on Sunday morning to the Port. We did this and it worked great - CorTran charges $20/pp each way, no deposit, pay when you get on shuttle. Highly recommend.

We used them and stayed at a hotel that was included on their list but did toy with the idea of shuttling to the airport and picking up there.... They are great! We will not use anyone else.

  2. The table setups are all the same no matter Td or mtd. Seating a large party of 21 in the same section will be a chore. Maybe better to take what you are offered and then switch the people around each night to sit with others in your party.

Thanx for the suggestion I am the TA for this group and I am hoping the rep. from RCCL can help get us to traditional. This group sails every other year and we have always had traditional dinning.

  3. Hi. I have MTD for our family of 11. Early was way too early and late wasn't good for my sister's family since she has three boys under 12 (my kids are 20 and 24). So, even though I have MTD, I can still make a ressie and this would serve us better when we go to the dining room? If so, I'll make a reservation for 7 pm for each night in MTD. How would I do this, in my cruise planner? I don't sail until August 2018 so I cannot yet purchase drink package and do not see cabanas available yet so thinking I will need to wait for all reservations.

    Thank you SO much!

I have a group and we were assigned MTD. I went into each reservation for each day on the cruise planner and made a reservation for 6PM for the week. I also spoke to an agent and put us on wiatlist for traditional dinning. With MTD they only seat a table of up to 10 and the next part of my group will not be guaranteed a table nearby. So I was looking for seating for total of 21 seats so I hope we get traditional dinning.

  4. We were at Paradise beach our favorite beach in March.(have been here at least 6 times) We have not gone to any of the others but will consider them for next year. While Paradise Beach is gorgeous with great service, lots of water toys and a beautiful pool, the beach is very rocky even with water shoes it was impossible to navigate. Spent the day at the pool.

  5. Cortrans Shuttle Service. We just used them two weekends ago to get to the liberty. Picked us up from our hotel, took us right to the port and then back to the airport when we got home. $40/pp round trip. Shuttle bus was clean and well maintained and drivers were very professional. Will definitely use them the next time we are cruising out of Port Canaveral.

I can second this. We used them from the Sheraton Airport Suites (they pick up here) to the port for our Oasis cruise. And then to the airport from the ship. Very good company to deal with. Prompt clean and great drivers. We loved the Sheraton...large 2 room suites free shuttle from airport and free shuttle to about 30 restaurants.

  6. We were on Oasis last month and had 9329. Views of Aqua Theatre are amazing. We loved it for all the shows as well as movies and room service. We thought the balcony was spacious. We booked same cabin for Allure April 2018. We had always been Ocean view Balcony people. We also got a view of the wake.

  7. We stayed at the Gallery One. It was a beautiful hotel on the water taxi route. This time we will stay at the Hyatt Place near 17th street... we need suites this time so this works for us. I had wanted to stay at the Riverside Las Olas. It is in a great area and shops/beach and restaurants are plentiful but we needed rooms for 4 and 5 people. Maybe next time.

  8. I booked online at "Resort for a Day".

Had a great experience! My wife and I would do it again without hesitation. We got our moneys worth alone in drinks ha ha and we're light weights. We just wish it was longer, but that's more a function of the time available from the cruise line while in port. It's about 20 minutes away from the port.

We're doing Mr. Sanchos tomorrow in Cozumel.

Thanx for the reply. We will prob. do that and Mr. Sanchos... is the beach at Mr. Sanchos sandy? We have been going to Paradise Beach the last few times and it is very difficult to get in and out of water due to rocks...

  9. For the criteria you've listed, Embassy Suites or Hyatt Place would suit your needs. Prices in Feb are usually very pricy. We just booked Hyatt Place using points for 4/2018, but their regular price for that time period is $349. MAny on this board use Value trips

To book Hyatt Place ,valuetrips.com for reduced rate. I think valuetrios has the Hyatt for around $220 vs booking directly with Hyatt.

If you can purchase Hyatt points, or if you are a Gold Passport member, you can buy points for $24 per 1,000 and 8,000 points per night are required.

Those properties are near many restaurants, burger joints, stores,

    Very close to the port

Rule of thumb, near port will be very, very pricy. If you wish to stay out far away, you will get much better deals but will pay more in transportation

You will get a better feel for accommodations if you go to TripAdvisor. Com

Most properties near the port will command $250-300+ per night for that time period.
