We last saw him on Solstice in Feb. He was training the bartenders, every ship needs a Santos 😂 Several of our favorite WCB mixologists have moved into management roles or just moved on.

I have to respectfully disagree. Did you ever have Sudui as your bartender many years ago. He could do all the tricks. He eventually left X and opened a bartending school in Bali. For a number of years X trained their bartenders at Suidi's school.  I'll look for Santos on Silhouette next summer and compare.

We have $2,200 in onboard credit ($2,000 of which is use-it-or-lose-it), so we plan on upgrading Internet, maybe wines, and a few spa services.

    Sounds like a great problem!

  3. Same problem as others are experiencing. we got a quote from our TA  one week ago. Got email about black Friday sale. Called A & got a quote $200 higher and told Black Friday sale did not apply to this cruise. Although we like A , after having to pay a cancellation penalty due to medical problem last year before the 120 day penalty period & now this experience, I am starting to waiver with this line, especially since we don't know how strong & supportive new ownership is.

Well, at least on this cruise, it’s been sunny for last week.  Lots of sun seekers getting brown.  Some days chaises filled with people.  Getting less so as everyone chills.  It has been almost a week of sunny weather…just HOT.

Enjoy the sun & the cruise.

I used to use Travel Guard because I have AIG at home but they, unlike their home policies, wanted way too much paperwork so now it is Allianz.

I've also used Travel Guard and had no problem getting fully reimbursed for dw's hotel doctor & trip to a hospital in Israel . Only thing not covered was for the taxi because I didn't' have receipts.

difference for the cruise only fare (on a like for like basis). We did however have a free (included) pre-cruise offer for Angkor Wat that was not available on the US site. The cruise

FYI, we did a 2 night post cruise to Anghor Wat just before the covid crisis. . Really amazing. Don't miss it.

  7. I won't repeat what Rallydave correctly said about contract law.

I am surprised how Sunprince has incorrectly interpreted Rallydave, cwn & my comments on the law of contracts. We are not "happy" of the outcome, but merely correcting previous posters incorrect analysis & comments.

BTW, if you read one of my previous comments, I have been in the exact situation when we were on a cruise with 3 nights of stops in Israel & was cancelled at the last minute for GREEK ISLANDS AS A SUBSTITUTE. WE WERE NOT HAPPY BUT UNDERSTOOD OUR LIMITED RIGHTS & CONSEQUENSES.

Absolutely.  Yet plenty of firms challenge contracts on various grounds all the time (some example grounds can be listed, yet as they are not claimed to apply to anything here, no need to list any examples).

Agree, but such grounds do not apply here.
