I would love to see a side by side before and after pic!
I second that!

I always make sure to put some extra clothing and one bathing suit in my husband's suitcase in case mine gets lost.
I, too, adopted this idea.
Then hubby had to turn round at Venice airport and go back home again leaving me with 2 suitcases and him no clothes.
My shoes and posh outfits were in his suitcase and there was no way i was letting him take them home with him! :D

Quick note to say you do not have to apologize for expressing your opinion here. That is what these boards are for. You may be in the minority on an issue and it shouldn't matter. OK? Just speak up. A person can have a difference of opinion and express it politely without being confrontational or rude. :)
.
Here here! Everyone's entitled to their opinion!
Think they call it freedom of speech! :)

It would be a great idea if you could have a drinks package where you set a limit, like $100 and you get reduced priced drinks and when u get near or hit your limit they notify u. Then u could have the choice of either doing a top up, or just paying the standard drinks price (say, if you are on the final night and wouldn't need to drink much more)
I would go for that idea! But probably more hassle than it's worth for RCCL

This would be a good deal for my dad, as he drinks like a fish, and considering beer prices were one of the reasons why he steers away from cruising, it might be a good way to lure him in!
But i fear for me, it will just be a waste. Myself and hubby would probably have about 2 drinks per day. Maybe a glass of wine and a cocktail (beer for him). I might have a few soda's, but i'm not fussed and can just have the free lemonade.
I think the BYO wine and a cocktail in the evening will be enough for me and will save me a lot of money!
I want to remember my holiday :D

I kind of understand their reasoning behind not allowing Liquor in your luggage.
Drink a bottle of wine and most people would be merry. Drink a bottle of liquor and most people would be hospitalised!!
There is a big difference in alcohol content and i can imagine a lot of people would go silly. Especially the younger crowd.
I do agree on the beer front though

Thank you Starry Eyes and meatlessinca for updating us. I would be interested to know if you had the bottles in your luggage or carryon? And if anyones tried both and what the outcome was?
Cheers
