  1. Our last cruise we had an inside room. Before that, we always had JS or Balcony rooms.

I was nervous about the inside room for a couple reasons:

    1. Not having a balcony

    2. My DH sleeps later than I do and there is no plug in to dry my hair in the bathroom.

    3. The size of the room

I did fine but it was a port intensive cruise. I'm not sure I would do it on a TA or TP.

  2. Below is a shot of the centrum of Serenade's sister ship Radiance taken upwards from the deck 4 area. The starboard side wall which is between the atrium and cabin corridor is on the left.

That is perfect. I have already called my travel agent and changed to a room in that area so I can get the little bit bigger balcony. Thanks for your help!

  3. Sounds good in theory, but just in theory. I booked all four of my cruises on the day they were released. I have done my research and to rebook something now to replace the third and fourth leg gives me only two options Freedom and Navigator. Freedom would be an 8/6/8 giving me 22 nights versus the 21 I am currently booked for and Navigator a 9/5/9 would give me an equal number of nights that I am currently booked for.

If I do Freedom, I have to pay for one night in a hotel plus transportation from the port to the hotel and then back to the port plus my meals. If I do Navigator, I have to go from Fort Lauderdale to Miami. The current pricing for these ships in the cabin class I am booked in would be thousands more than I am currently paying.

Sophie, I can imagine your frustration when a charter occurs during the middle of your B4B. I was going to suggest looking at a different ship, and doing a side 2 side, but you already did. I hope something benefitting you ends up occurring. 😊

  4. Oasis is a few miles ahead of you on it sway from St. Maarten to Port Canaveral.

Celebrity Summit may cross your bow in a bit on its way from St. Maarten to St. Thomas.

Regal Princess is on its way from St. Maarten back to Port Everglades and will most likely be a bit ahead of you all the way back to Florida.

That is it for cruise ships on the move in the area. Azamara Quest is docked in St. Barts. You may be able to see the lights of the island off the starboard side of Freedom. After that the lights of St. Maarten may be way off the starboard side of the ship.

You might be able to see St. Croix way off in the distance off the port side of Freedom. Then the BVI's will be off in the distance on the port side later tonight if Freedom keeps to her anticipated projected course.

That should do it for any sightseeing tonight.:)

What site do you use to track the ships like this? It is interesting.

Robyn, I am loving this review. Thank you for sharing your time with us.
