  1. I read different information about the Hard Rock Cafe. Some people write that it moved to a new location. The homepage seems to show a different address. Can someone please tell me where it is? Is it in walking distance from the port? I understand that there are different piers. We are with the MSC Seaside. First time at Cozumel.:) Thanks!

  2. This is good to know. We are booked on the same itinerary for June 2019.

On Meravigilia and Musica, since there is no tap water, US passengers were given free bottled water in the MDR and buffet. Apparently only us Americans drink tap water?

I do not know why MSC did way with it. Bummer.

True, I always like it in the US that we get water in restaurants with our meal. At least here in Germany (and in other European countries as well) it is not common to get free (tap) water automatically. You can of course ask for a glass of tap water but I hardly ever see anyone doing it. :)

  3. We have used National Express before, no problem to store luggage. From Heathrow to Southampton we use it next Friday. I can tell you where to find it after we get back from our short (2 nights) cruise on Sunday :) We take a taxi from the coach station to the ship. Shouldn't be more than 5 GBP I believe.

  4. I am on the same cruise and there are literally no hotels near this port. We board on a Sunday and there is not even public transportation to anywhere near this port. Luckily I had just booked near the airport due to flights, but I feel for those that were booked near the other port.

That's not true. The public transportation is the same as on a weekday, except for the ferry (which is not very close to the ship anyway).

The best way is to go with the S3 train to station "Veddel" (2 stations from Central station, about 15-20 minutes from "Altona" or the stations around) Prebook the shuttle bus from Veddel (2,50 €) and it takes you directly to the terminal.

    :)

  5. My family and I also were booked on this 7/22 cruise. What a hassle, we were tied into those dates working around my now adult exchange students' work schedules. We did rebook for the Epic western Mediterranean. Our original flights were in and out of Hamburg. Now we have added round trip to Barcelona and back and then off to visit in Berlin and Stuttgart. Many more travel days.

:( What a mess! Did NCL give you any compensation for the flights? But I am sure that you will have a wonderful trip!

  6. Can I ask where you saw these changes? I looked at NCL.com and another online TA and both show nothing for The Jade to Norway.

Our TA sent us the official email they received from NCL but now the new cruises are bookable on their page. It's a German website but I justed looked on their English partnersite and there it is also. I am not allowed to post the name here

  7. changes are always bad, but did the 12 night last year, was a great cruise.

NCL offered us to change to one of the two now new cruises but we expect a little bit more than 10 % discount and 25 $ OBC.

They also offered that we could change to the 7-nights Fjords cruise in August and keep our price. Yes, nice.. Our original cruise was 8 nights.
