Our hotel has complimentary parking. There's a free shuttle from MIA, but we'll be flying into FLL. Don't imagine they'll shuttle us from there.

UberXL from FLL to downtown Miami hotels will be closer to $70+, and I doubt you can get 6 plus bags into one Uber/Lyft - especially if anyone packs like my wife!
Best option is a stretch limo with a stocked bar! 😉 You might look at splitting up int o two standard UberX/Lyft vehicles - total fare shoudl be about the same.
Rental car is an option, but as mentioned above the hotel parking charges can quickly make this a less desirable option.
I like the way you think there! 😂. I do need to check on parking. For one night it shouldn't be too bad.
Thanks

for 6 you might just to use UBER it is about 50 bucks from MIA to FLL the hotel might have a shuttle
We are coming into FLL....UberXL was only $20-30 cheaper than renting a car. A little more freedom with the choice of what we do once we get to Florida and before the cruise. I did look into that though

Update....in my research, it was cheaper to rent a car from FLL and drop off at MIA. Then we'll just take an UberXL from MIA to the port.

We have a cruise coming up in February 2020. We are flying Southwest into FLL, but our hotel and cruise are in Miami. There are 6 of us traveling. What are the best transportation options to get us from the airport to the hotel and then the next day to the port?
TIA

I'm hoping to see some better rates on the cruise planner for our Symphony of the Seas cruise in Feb 2020. It seems like everytime I look they just keep getting higher and higher. Of course we ARE on the biggest ship. I should've booked the waterpark back almost a year ago. $64.99, now the cheapest I've found is $88.99. I have to buy for 6. Really hoping for some good deals.
-
The $93.99 price is what it has been for awhile. Way back when it was $64.99. Haven't seen it any cheaper than that price. We are on the Symphony in Feb 2020. All the prices are pretty high on PD @ CC.

Ok. The monitors can probably just delete this post. I think I found my answer when I went to Port of Calls and looked at some of the posts about Perfect Day. It doesn't look like they offer the half day pass anymore.
-
For those that have been to Perfect Day at Coco Cay....are there half-day passes that you can buy once you get to the island? And approximately how much they cost? On our planner they are close to $90 for a full day. I should've bought them when they were like $64.99.
Thanks in advance.

I wonder if the size of the boat plays a factor.
It must. We are on the Symphony in Feb 2020 and for the longest time it was $64.99. Then it went up to $99. Currently it is at $89.

Maybe no really good deals until they recoup costs from the $18 deal this week. 😳
This is kind of what I was thinking. Unfortunately I missed out on this deal! 😞 I've been going in every day, but there wasn't anything earlier that day and I don't think it started until after 4:00 pm. 😞

When you use the Princess at Sea on your phone once you board:
You Can order your breakfast the night before (eliminating the door hanger)
See your account balance/expenditures
See the Patter and click on the event to make your own personalized schedule
Reserve shore excursions
Is this something that can be downloaded beforehand or just once you get on the ship?

Yes, it was $199 then discounted to $175.
I thought it was cheap for what you get. A decent meal at a land based resort can run $150 alone!
That's true, it is definitely worth it. We love Chops and we were wanting to try some of the other restaurants that we didn't get a chance to do on Harmony on our last trip...just thinking of all the other stuff that we need to pay for that we haven't yet. Just trying to decide whether we want that extra cost or not. Already planning on getting the Deluxe Beverage Package. Maybe we'll just be on a liquid diet on the cruise! LOL
Thank you for the info. That is a good deal!

For our Nov 09, 2019 booking it is $175/person.
Ugh....ok. I know that it's worth the cost, it's just a lot of money. Was that with a "discount" at all?

We are booked on a 7 day cruise on Symphony of the Seas but not until February 22, 2020. So prices for dining except Jamies aren't available in the Cruise Planner yet. Is there anyone that has gone on Symphony before, know what the prices are for the Unlimited Dining Package?
Thank you in advance

Thank you all for your responses. It is pretty much what I figured! Sounds to me like they need to just book at the cheapest rate they can if they really want to come with us or book a balcony. Which right now the rates are REALLY high (it is a new ship after all) or decide that it’s just too expensive.
Thabks again!

We booked this cruise while we were on the Harmony in May 2018 (just DH and I). We booked for just our immediate family (5 of us total). Now we have more family wanting to book, but the prices are just going up and up. Do any of you know, based on past trends, whether there will be better rates/deals in the future? It might be hard to predict because this is a new ship. Our son booked a balcony with his girlfriend during the Black Friday sale and his room total with gratuities and insurance was $2500.00. Now the interior room is a little less than $2500 without adding gratuities and insurance. I have a feeling that the price is not going to get any better. Any other insight from more seasoned RC cruisers?
Thank you in advance!

How do you find out what your points are?

We have 3 rooms.
8544
10186
10188
the last two are adjoining rooms.
Any insight on the configuration of these rooms?
Thanks

The last evening and morning of our cruise aboard Liberty a couple of weeks ago there were 50 to 100 people in line. That’s not a solution for me. Its their mistake. They should fix it on my time, not theirs. A quick email should suffice in today’s world.
I had the very same thing happen on a cruise. Having had the experience before, I would never recommend someone use a debit card OR a prepaid card. I used a "Simple" card. It was what Google went to after they quit supporting their Google Wallet Card. It's basically a pre-paid card. You load money on. During our cruise the charges were posted each day and then at the end they charged the full amount. So my pre-paid balance was negative almost $600 on that cruise. It took a good three weeks for all of the "held" charges to finally drop off. I emailed Simple customer service and they said that they'd seen it before, and that I wouldn't be charged because it had gone negative. I work in banking and it isn't the cruise lines fault (other than I wish they processed their transactions differently....but understand why they hold funds daily) and it isn't the card issuers fault. Note to self: use a credit card next time that has enough on it for the double charges.

Try this link to get to the old page
This is the ONLY thing that worked for me. I had everything finished except the photos to upload. And still waiting for luggage tags to be ready to print. Probably not for another couple weeks.
Thanks SO much!!! Cruise isn't until May 5th, but got a little nervous. Other links in this thread didn't work for me. It would either show NO BOOKING FOUND or something about locking my reservation.
Much thanks again!! Saving that link until I can get my luggage tags printed.

My husband and 2 of our boys and one of their friends were on Liberty of the Seas last May. They all had the Voom package. They all set-up their phones with Wifi-calling before leaving for the trip. They were able to get on social media, text through FB Messenger to communicate while on the ship. My husband called home almost daily from the ship. This was all done with just the Voom package. No other cost involved with our carriers.
Like other posters have said, you have to set-up the wifi-calling ahead of time and make sure it works. Put in airplane mode and turn the roaming off and use your wifi at home. But it worked great for them the whole time they were gone. There were no extra fees on our phone bill after that trip either.

Is there anyway to switch the configuration and then switch back? Never been on Oasis class ship. Please be kind if this is a really stupid question! Probably bring a small fan in luggage. Never had a problem with the fan so probably won’t be a problem.
Black Friday sale....what is usually included?
