Renaissance Hotel, right on the marina downtown used to have day rates for their private island. They have their own water shuttles right from their lobby. It's been a few years but was a nice way to spend a day, about 20 minute ride and included beaches & facilities. There was even a restaurant and out on the beach there were cabanas & massage tables. -
Viking has also cancelled for that time period. They are giving the same reasons to their passengers in a written emaik.

Has anyone used a luggage forwarding service to/from Tahiti? Any issues with bags arriving on time or with locating a representative at the cruise terminal after disembarkation?
