  1. I was very pleased that Celebrity let me cancel my $200 gift card match in order to take advantage of this great promotion without having to cancel and rebook. The customer service rep. I spoke to was very professional and helpful.

We want to offer our customers the best offer available, so existing bookings, including the Reserved or Open Passage bookings can convert to our current 123go offer, but will need to change their cruise price to prevailing rates (current pricing) and release any previous offers. Please call us to make the necessary changes to your booking, our staff will advise you of the current pricing and review the best offer for you. Remember time is limited, so call us today!

  2. That is alot of cruises for sure, but it could very well be someone who lives in Florida and is able to take a number of short cruises without having to pay airfare, and taking advantage of last minute dirt cheap deals. I am in my early 60's and have been cruising for over 30 years. If I had been a Florida resident who loved cruising, I easily could have taken the 5 cruises per year it would take to get to this level (even while working, presuming a good number of these were 'long week-end' type cruises). If I were then able to continue cruising into my 80's as our relatives were, imagine the number of cruises I could total:D:D. I can't imagine not doing other types of vacations as well, but some people are cruising fanatics. I am over 30 cruises now (10 on other lines), but were I a Florida resident I probably would be logging over 100 by now.

We met a great couple in there 60's on our last cruise they were from Orlando, they said if they feel like cruising they call their TA and get a lst minute deal, he told me they paid something like 89 each last minute for the 4 night cruise we were on. They do not even leave the ship anymore, they said they have been to every port at least twice.

  3. Canadian nor US health insurance will cover you for a medical emergency if you have to be air lifted, so insurance must cost a ton if you 70+ for 300 + days at sea.

Also I wonder if I called X and said I am going to cruise all year on all these different cruises if they would give me the drink package for all of them ? LOL I would be one happy fat drunk in at the end of a year.

  4. When I called yesterday I had them email me a new invoice, and it shows WAV1-WAVE BEV & WAV7-PREM BEV and nothing was added to my balance. I thought I had to pay an additional 10+ dollars a day to upgrade the one, but they never asked for my credit card nor is there a charge on my bill/statement.

Thanks for the info. we don't sail till March, so if I don't see it by mid-Feb I will do what you did ask for a invoice.

    Thanks again.

  5. Booked early for a cruise on Feb 17th. Just called to try and get classic drink package. Reservations agent and manager flat out refused. I could understand if room rates have gone up significanly but they have not. Has anybody who booked early been sucessful in getting 1,2,3 go applied?

    Thanks,

for this Feb or Feb 2014 ? Your last payment date has already gone by for this Feb. so they hold all the cards, you can easily do it if it is for Feb 2014

  6. Everyone better check their reservations. I have been waiting for our beverage packages to be posted to our reservation. I just checked our reservation and found that the amount we owe increased by $704 due to $352 apiece in 'other charges' with no explanation.

Sounds like they charged us $44 x 8 days for beverage packages rather than adding them for free!

Not looking forward waiting on hold forever again trying to get this one fixed!

I just checked mine they look like my cat made them :)

One has the package in one area of the reservation but not in the cruise extras part, also I told her to upgrade us to the Premium package and I don't see it there and my price did not change

One cruise has the package but they bumped the amount I owe up by the amount the package costs.

I am going to wait a couple of weeks before I call I imagine they are pretty busy and disorganized right now.

  7. It says new bookings only soooooo....I have previously booked a 10/10 Meditteranean trip on Reflection with a TA. Any way I can cancel and rebook to get this deal. I would be saving $1500.

When I called I asked the Rep. "I see you have this promotion my final pay date is next week, do I have to cancel this whole reservation and rebook to get the promo?" She said NO and took care of it right on the phone for me, she let me know that it would not show up for a few days online. Alos I had laready paid for the cruise, she canceled the $200 match from those gift cards and added the beverage packages instead.

I am glad that we did not have to cancel as we have a nice cabin. Also the cruise was still the same price as when I booked it.

  8. We are booked on Reflection for march 30 and also we are able to change and get the Classic alcohol package included. Although we have a substantial OBC giving that up we still would save almost 250 dollars by changing to the 123 promotion. Now to my question we plan on buying the Premium package and was wondering if anyone knows if you can just pay the difference between the Classic package offered and the premium?

I am on the same cruise, when I called she asked if we wanted to upgrade to Premium. I gave up the 200 matching gift card, mmm $200 match or $700 drink packages, easy decision.

  9. My wife has always wanted to go on a cruise with me, but I told her that the booze alone would too costly. Well last year I gave in and we went on a 4 night cruise - the total for a suite [this was carnival] was a little over 1,000. The bar bill at the end was 1,200 !! I am glad X has this package, now I know the cost before I leave and can relax without any surprises at the end. I know I will still spend about 100 a day onboard in the casino and other stuff but that is also budgeted.

Because of my job and the need to drive sober when at home I seldom drink much. On a cruise I can walk to my cabin and no one ever asks me to steer the ship. So you might say I go overboard...almost literally.

A typical day starts with a cappuccino or two. By 11 it's a bloody Mary. With lunch a Margarita or a beer. Around 4:30 ,it's 2 or 3 martinis. With dinner at six, three glasses of wine and a specialty coffee with dessert as well as a sparkling water throughout.

Then it's on to the casino for a cognac or jack and coke. At the show maybe a vodka and tonic or a cordial. Following that it's to the disco or karaoke and some specialty rum drinks.

Finally an espresso at cafe baccio and a water for the room at night. On beach days we also take liter bottles of water to the beach. I kept track for a while and see that it would have cost me130 to 150 per day before tip.

At the discount rate of $49/day I figure I'm way ahead until I have to pay for the liver transplant.
