  1. Me and others have been offered the upgrade bidding program on our last med cruise which was sold out aswell. It seems as it is an automatic process no matter if there is anything available. MSC say that you will be notified 48-72 hours before sailing date, but also read that some didn't receive any information until they arrived.

  2. I am sorry to ask but as this is a very extensive thread... can someone tell me what food/drink will be free actually when having a regular "Drink's on Us" package and not staying in YC?

And what will "change on the island" when I stay in YC?

Thanks and sorry if this has been covered in the ~600 postings 😕

In my cruise planner, there is also a picture for the Pedalo:

Looks nice - $99 for two hours. There are a lot of things listed since some weeks.

I believe VTCruising posted the opening dates for the various areas a few days ago.

It seems I have missed the posting and can't find it. Would someone please be kind and point me to that thread? Thanks!

EDIT: found it, i only viewed VTcruising's last 10 days activity (too active 😉 ) - in case someone is also looking for it:

  5. I was always able to request a drysack while dining in blu. Took them one night to find it but they always did and from that time they had it abailable for me everynight as I like it as a nice aperitif.

    Really appreciated that.

  6. Hello everyone!

I know there a quite a few threads regarding the dry dock of Equinox. However, I didn't find answers on my questions - maybe because some threads are very long with dozen of pages. I apologize if this has been answered before.

    1. Did the Aqua class staterooms get any upgrades or changes or only suites? From what I read, the balcony furniture changed for all staterooms and there might be new mattrasses.

    2. Any changes to the Spa?

    3. Blu - new menu maybe?

Thanks in advance for your answer!

  7. Hi everyone!

The search did not find anything regarding this, sorry if it is just me not finding it.

I wonder if anyone knows when the transatlantic sailings for Celebrity Apex will  be released? The last sailing is 04/24/21 so I think the TA will start on 05/01/21.

Would be happy to set a reminder so I can book it as soon as it becomes available 🙂

    Thanks!

  8. Hi all!

We love being outside on a cruise ship, reading, relaxing and gathering some sun.

However, our skin dont like sun all day that‘s why our favorite spot on S-Class is one deck above the pool deck whith the big  awnings above the sun chairs providing shade.

From what I have seen and read, Edge doesnt have such awnings.

I therefor wonder where you can be outside on the ship but not burning all day long?

    Thanks for your suggestions!

  9. Hi all!

Topic says it all. We have done b2b in Sydney but that‘s totally different as you dock right in the city and as we don‘t visit Sydney so often like Miami/FLL.

As the port itself has not much to offer (at least from what I know) I wonder about the regulations. How long do we have to leave the ship and wait outside? It was a few hours in Sydney, but we didnt care as we have treated it like a port day. It will be different in Fort Lauderdale - I think you cant even walk around as you like.

    Any advice appreciated. Thanks!

  10. We have been on Celebrity cruises on S-Class dining in Blu from 10 days to 18 days (with 2x12days b2b)  and learned that it is a 14day rotation in Blu.

They even had a special dish (Surf'n'Turf) on our 18 day cruise which isn't on the regular schedule just not to repeat things for the third time.

If it only would be a 7day rotation in Blu that would be really bad as there will be more b2b cruisers on 7 day cruises as on 12+...

I hope we have some b2b Edge cruisers here who can enlighten us 🙂
