  1. Hello, my husband has a spinal cord injury and has to have a scooter. Can anyone with experience tell me if the Mardi Gras is easy to navigate with a scooter and does it have sufficient restrooms for a scooter to navigate?
  2. Thank you!! I don’t want to pay the price for the cruise if it tenders due to my husband being disabled and cannot climb the stairs while tendering. I do know ahead about GSC being a tender port but don’t want two of them
  3. I read where the Gem is possibly Dock port or tender port. Can someone confirm, please?
  4. Thank you so much for your response.
  5. Does the cruise ship shut down the casino while in port in Bermuda? Also, how handicapped accessible is Bermuda, ie Scooter?
  6. Will our suitcases fit under the bed on the Epic?
  7. Thank you so much!! My husband has a spinal cord injury and doesn’t have the balance or strength to do steps. Again, Thank you!!

  9. Where does the elevator on the sports deck stop? Does it stop at the bar area of H20 where the tables and chairs are located?
  10. I agree and think it’s rude to go in the room until it’s clear. I have seen the signs and saw parents with their children disobey the rule. This sets a really bad example to the children and teaches disrespect.
  11. I’m going on the Epic soon and am wondering if there is a ramp to get up to the bar area of Spice H20? My husband will have a scooter and cannot walk up stairs due to a spinal cord injury.
  12. Does the Epic Casino have the Treasure Lounge Slot Machine?
  13. Did the pool at Amber Cove have steps or does it gradually get deeper to get in?
  14. Thanks for your reply. I apologize for using the wrong words. I have heard people bragging about booking a handicapped accessible room that were not handicapped. I guess my frustration was coming through. Sorry!!
  15. I assume most people just put in for an upgrade and go about their business. Unless you’ve had a spinal cord injury and is quadriplegic, you wouldn’t understand. I apologize for bothering everyone.
  16. That doesn’t seem fair to those who are “really” handicapped. I hate to use this word but it feels like discrimination . Thank you so much for you time replying to my question.!
  17. Has anyone been able to upgrade to a handicapped accessible balcony room? I was told if we have a handicapped accessible room and sign up for an upgrade for a balcony room that there is no guarantee it would be handicapped accessible.???
  18. Does the pool at Amber Cove have a slopping entrance into the pool? Or just steps? Thanks! Carol
  19. Good morning, I forgot to add insurance to my reservation while booking. Can someone advise a good dependable insurance company for me to contact and purchase insurance through? Thank you so much!
  20. Hello Everyone, My husband and I are cruising on the Jewel in 2025. This is the Smallest ship we will be cruising on. My husband is handicapped (spinal cord injury) so will need a scooter. In your opinion, is this ship a good ship for a handicapped accessibility? Are there handicapped restrooms on each floor with public access? Also, are the inside accessible rooms large enough for a scooter? This cruise is 11 days and I want to make sure he will not have problems on the Jewel. Thank you so much!
  21. We were on the Escape in November and did the other Muster Drill by just checking into the Manhattan. It was easy and took very little time. Throughout the day we heard announcements for people to go to their Muster Drill and check in. This announcement was over and over. I blame the irresponsible people who disregarded the convenience of doing the Muster Drill that way. Norwegian had no choice for returning to the “old” way. I don’t blame Norwegian for returning back to this. It was the Entitled Irresponsible cruisers that did this to everybody!!!
