Can anyone recommend a transport company that will take us to the Lima port from Miraflores? Or is our best option to have the hotel call a cab for us.
TIA!

Does anyone know if there is a Covid testing facility in the Lima cruise port?
TIA

Thank you for posting. .

It's a little frustrating as those of us on the February 17th sailing that includes South Georgia as we have not heard a peep from Seabourn. I, for one, would like to plan another holiday in February if we are a no go.

I would love to see the questions and answers.
TIA

I have a question on clothing. Did you follow the packing list and order what they recommended or wing it on your own? I don't want to be cold but I also don't want to spend a fortune on clothes I probably won't use again.
What are you wearing on the bottom? I'm torn between long underwear, fleece pants and rain pants or just long underwear and lined ski pants.
TIA

I was wondering if anyone could share information/pictures of the fitness center on the Venture.
TIA!

All sorted.
Via the hotel (Alvear Icon) we have now organised for antigen tests to be carried out in our hotel room. The hotel was very helpful with this, and it is the easy option.
I have half-a-memory of reading somewhere that short cruises didn't need pre-embarkation testing whilst longer cruises did. It didn't make sense at the time, but people on the 10 day cruises saying they don't need a test seems to make it the case. Anyone understand the logic of it?
Are you staying there pre cruise or just the night that Seabourn is including?
Could you please share any information you have on luggage restrictions for the charter flight.
TIA

Are Azamara cruises with packaged flights an EU or UK thing? I've never seen that offered in the US with more than ten years cruising Azamara. We've often booked air through CruiseAir, but they don't dictate your flight arrangements. They offer choices, and you decide on the flight plan you want..
There are several companies in the US that offer packages including flights. We did that for our first Azamara cruise.

I have more of an issue with the front row VIP/Big Suites seating at the Azamazing (off ship or onboard). I never sit in the reserved seats! Lol
Phil
My issue is that the loyalty program is based on how much you spend, rather than the number of nights onboard like so many other cruise lines. We have done 17 cruises with Azamara and one Celebrity, yet we are still at the "Discoverer" level because we opt to travel on deck 4.
And the Amazing Evening seating is annoying as well. I'm rather short and I have a hard time seeing when we are the last group to arrive.

Which air tags would everyone recommend?

We often dress in black and there are no issues.

There is much discussion about this on the roll call. Here is what my TA sent me, but everyone has a different story.
As of right now (and once again, something that could change), Azamara has stated:
EGYPT - REQUIRED - MULTI-ENTRY - needs to be secure by guest before the cruise - online electronic Visa option - $60
https://visa2egypt.gov.eg/eVisa/Home
JORDAN - REQUIRED - will be secured by Azamara on guest's behalf - should any cost be incurred will post as charge on shipboard account
OMAN - REQUIRED - will be secured by Azamara on guest's behalf - should any cost be incurred will post as charge on shipboard account
ISRAEL - NOT REQUIRED
UAE - NOT REQUIRED
Azamara is supposed to be sending out info about this direct to guest.

Thank you so much for this! I’m on my latest of many attempts to get Captain’s Circle emails and other important emails like this, and I hope that’s another thing they can fix in the new system. We’re Explorer Plus, but aside from a rare marketing email once every couple of years, and some (but not all) updates concerning booked cruises, we never get anything else.
We have the same issue. We spoke with them last week and supposedly it is sorted, but we never received the latest communication. It's absolutely ridiculous.

It appears the sushi is commentary - is that correct?
Thanks so much for your updates!

Have your paid for your tickets and have they been issued yet?
I was told by Choice Air that they could reserve seats for me prior to that, but my TA told me that they can't. I just paid for our tickets before final payment so we had a better selection of seats.

I had mine done in March and I believe it was in the neighborhood of $100-$125 with our loyalty discount. Alex did a great job and the match was right on. The only reason I was willing to spend so much was that we quite a lot of OBC to use.

If I purchase the indulgence package ahead of time, is the OBC immediately available for use? I thought it was, but with so many changes recently, I wanted to confirm.
TIA

I'm assuming you will also pay for the small plates that will be served with great "panache"? I don't like the direction that this is headed.

"Rebooking" Policy

We just "cancelled" a cruise - our TA just moved the booking to a different cruise, same confirmation number, OBC and reduced deposit. The only thing that changed was the cabin number.
