  1. Red's Eats was the best by far. Not cheap, but it's huge and tons of tail meat.

#2 was closer to #10 than it was to #1 in quality.

Belle Isle in Winthrop, MA (on the East Boston border, near Logan Airport) is the second best in New England.

I've got a list of about 40 Lobster Rolls that I am constantly adding to and updating.

Is Reds near the port? I’m dying to try it.

  2. I’ve been looking for a couple of days. Tracy arm Fjord, Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan, and Victoria are the ports. The Alaskan cruise is much more expensive than the typical Caribbean cruises. We usually spend an average of $100-$200 per port while on Caribbean cruises. I realize it’s more expensive so I’m just doing some research so I can get an idea of our budget. We love seafood, and we’re wanting to see Alaska. I’d just like to get some feed back from people that have been and what they seen? I’m open to everything

  3. I’m trying to plan our 2019 vacation. Thinking of going to Alaska in late July. Trying to get prices and look at excursions and holy cow they are expensive! Anyone know of private people/companies that offer excursions that don’t cost an arm and a leg? I believe I have read about a crab fest? Help? Suggestions?

  4. We were on the Pride on March 2nd last year, and they did indeed have a dessert spread in the Atrium in the evening, to celebrate his birthday.

  5. Lunch at the Taste Bar is very good, and you can eat while trivia and such is going on. They had an extensive salad bar, soup, rolls, turkey wraps, chips and salsa, chicken fingers and 1 or 2 hot dishes. Perfect for my family!

Try to sit on the sides or in the balcony in the theater vs on the floor, and be mindful of poles and sightlines.

The crew is truly wonderful, they really made the trip awesome.

I’ve never seen chips and salsa? That’s one of my favorites

  6. I wasn’t even thinking about a car seat!! Is it required in most ports? I guess I can ask before booking an excursion about that. Thanks for the info! I’m reading good reviews about the Dr Sues breakfast. We will do that for sure

  7. We booked through shore excursioneers for $87.99 each all exclusive, buffet lunch and 2 drinks, round trip from port. We paid a deposit for 4 adults $30 balance to be paid in cash there. This is our first time cruising, we are on a Norwegian ship also at Coxen Hole.

The website says they serve lobster, chicken, and steak. Is this part of the buffet?
