When is your cruise? The banner has been on my page for about a month and has said sold out since it posted. I know it isn't sold out as I have early access as I booked an excel suite. I am trying to figure out when it may actually be available.
My cruise is a week from Sunday so it went up 10 or 12 days before. At least that's when I noticed it.

Where do yuo see Loft 19 for sale online?
When you get close to the sail date, a banner appears at the top of your booking advertising it. I don’t see it anywhere else.

Loft 19 appeared online as an option for my cruise a couple of days ago. Out of 12 cabanas, 4 are taken. The remaining 8 are on sale for the low price of $2,000, but so far no takers.
Maybe I will call them and offer to take one off their hands for $50.
But seriously, will they just keep these at $2,000 and resort to daily rentals if nobody takes them for a week? Or will the price go down if none of them sell?

Yes. There a a few upcharge items on the dinner menu but most of it is free. We thought it was inconsistent on Mardi Gras, sometimes good and sometimes not but it was easily the worst meal we had on Celebration a couple weeks ago. 😞
That's too bad. Although, I live overseas and can't find any American BBQ at all so maybe your worst meal will be good enough for me!
Thanks again.

I know this was the case in the spring, but I can't find a definitive answer either way on the website or searching posts here.

Aren't they your kids? There is about a 10 minute wait from A to D
I didn't realize that. The only time I was C, it was well over an hour. I have only been A since, so I assumed it was always that way. I guess this was the piece of info I was missing.

I understand. Sorry about your situation. I honestly don't think anyone has ever seen this before. Enjoy your cruise!
Thanks. I did call just now and got right through. They told me that there was an issue with the system and I should disregard the E02 boarding group and show up at A01. I'm a little hesitant to expect that it'll work if my paper says E02, but it's not a huge deal either way.

No, I have never heard of this happening. In fact, how do you know you were A01? Until one fully completes their check-in process I don't believe actual boarding passes (where your assigned boarding slot first appears) are even visible. You would simply have selected and know your Arrival Time and nothing more at midnight. That said, I have never seen an actual boarding slot change unless one changes their arrival appointment.
I did complete everything in order to see it. You can see your boarding group at midnight if you go back and complete the rest of the info, which I did. I saw it had changed when I went back to look at the documents to check my cabin number.

It doesn't matter if your arrival appointment didn't change.
Why doesn't it matter? It means I'll be sitting with 3 kids waiting for A through D to board despite getting there at the same time.

Hey all. I checked in for my cruise Saturday night right on the dot midnight. We got a01. I went back and added the passport numbers later that night. It bumped us to b02. I just checked now and it says E02. Has anybody had this happen? Is it possible to get it fixed if I call customer service?

I'd like to know what health insurance reimburses massages! I can't even use FSA money for massages.
It's called the foreign service benefit plan. Unfortunately you have to be a federal employee and even then it wouldn't make sense to have it unless you live abroad.

Unless they offer 50 minute massages I doubt they have a way to ring it up that way.
They do

Stupid, niche, unimportant question, I know. But that's what cruisecritic is all about right?
My health insurance will reimburse me up to $75 per massage, 50 times a year. If I get a 100 minute massage and I submit a bill for two 50 minute massages back to back, they will reimburse each of them. Any chance Carnival will work with that if I book a 100 minute?

I don't know if there is a native amazon store app for it, but you can download the google play store and get the android version of the app on a kindle fire.

As an update, I bought exactly 100 shares. I waited until they appeared on my monthly statement, submitted it to Carnival, and was approved a couple of hours later. Sailing on a VIFP rate.

I highly recommend taking the ferry to st John and going to trunk bay. It's absolutely perfect.

Just buy a one-way ticket that gets there in time. You don't "have to fly AA" for any reason for that leg, assuming he isn't banned from every other airline and thus has no choice. But you've made a minimally complicated situation as complicated as you can while shooting down any suggested answers as unworkable after asking for help on how to make it workable.

This is actually a pretty easy fix. Just take $9,100, subtract what you spend on the cruise, and make that your new budget for gambling on the ship. Voila! You have a free cruise for the low low price of $8,500 or so.

it walks you through it. you'll check in the whole cabin, make sure their info is correct, etc. you can sign them up for the kids club, give them a budget for charging to their room key, and select if they can sign themselves in and out of the kids club (depending on age).

I'm reviving this topic from the dead since it will be relevant to my question.
Is Carnival currently approving OBC for shareholders who are booked on VIFP rates? -
I am sailing on the celebration the first week of January. FTTF still does not appear on the website. Any ideas why?

Gotta get that ship on a stick!
I won a ship on a stick on a tiebreaker question my first cruise. The question was what were George Washington's teeth made of. I said ivory and slave teeth. The other person said wood. The host awarded it to the other person but I said that's a myth you best fact check that. Old dude mean mugged me every time he saw me that cruise for taking his ship on a stick away. Didn't help that I also beat him by 1 stroke in mini golf (he brought his own putter on board for it).

Why would he be a hero? What did he do?
At one point there was a report that a diver was injured trying to rescue the missing passenger. I haven't seen anything else to confirm that. The poster could have been referring to that though.

Help Needed
in Carnival Cruise Lines
Posted
Buy yourself a $500 gift card for $450 on aarp. Load it up as bar cruise cash. That's your drink package. Sure sounds like that would be plenty.
