I'll second what valentinebaby1 just said. We were also on Valor in May 2013 and she is a beautiful ship and in great condition. The itinerary is very busy with five different ports and the one sea day but that's one of the things DH and I loved about it. The itinerary itself is the most scenic we've been on. I have to say that our Valor cruise was my favorite cruise.

I was on the Valor in February, and I noticed that they're gradually doing upgrades. Or at least, they've got the new pizza (so much better than the old stuff that was passed off as pizza).

We are looking for a reasonably priced beach with good facilities. Chankanaab looks great and affordable. But with 4 ships in port, I'm worried it will be packed and unenjoyable. We aren't looking to do the dolphin swims or anything like that. Any advice?

Something that bothered me was one of the cakes they made for us was full of rum. I can't have any alcohol and there wasn't any warning that the food had alcohol in it. My mom took one bite and her eyes watered up and she said WOW that's a lot of rum. She took the hit for me, so I didn't eat any of it, but I would have been pretty upset.

Didn't get sick, but it was a miracle. Roads are crazy. Drivers are crazy. I took ginger pills all cruise and wore wrist bands. Never got sea sick but I do have the flu or something. The tour was great for the most part.

Any recent experiences with Cosol? We are booked for 3 weeks time.... Very nervous about the motion sickness :(
