A lot of scuttlebutt about the Epic consistently missing Bonaire.  Any insight or feedback? Thanks. 

We did this before (sail around the Pitons a snorkel, but this time the port-time is shorter.

NCL Epic arrive 12:30,  leaving 7:30. Would like to sail the Pitons, not really interested in snorkeling.

Any suggestions?  TIA

We picked Athens Suites. Supposed to have great views of the Acropolis. They do a wine thing on the roof every night. Got 3 nights for 60,000 AA miles/mighta been less.

We did Corfu 3 years ago and yes it is spectacular. As you exit the port, you will notice 1-30 black Mercedes with drivers. I called out "Best city tour Best Price" one guy came up and said 50 Euros 1/2 day. Maybe we got lucky, but he was fantastic. Went to the palace, the mouse island thing, and 4 or 5 great sites. Good Luck!

Plat 18 ccl cruises. Got to port at 10:45.no more special lounge, shuffled off to a separate line. Started to ...Walk aboard and got stopped! Guy said you missed your Window! Got pushed into the rest, standing and waiting. Disembarking was even worse! Don’t get your hopes up with CCL plat! A.few old choc covered strawberries, pin and watered down drinks at D/P reception! Shop the best deal, do not be loyal to any cruise line, 

All non-relative travel to Cuba has been halted. 

According to news articles, trump has closed all non relative visits. Sure there will be more info to follow.

Like HD2 above-Many thanks for all the information. We are so looking forward to this trip. My only concern is a formal night I don`t wear coat and ties anymore. After 25 years in sales! Is that a problem?

We are booked on the Crystal in September for the Greek Isles. My wife noticed last night that there are 2 formal nights on the cruise, indicating mandatory coat and tie in the dining room. This could be a deal breaker as I wore those in my 25-year sales career and vowed to never put a suit on again. I will dress in business casual, but not put a noose around my neck again. Can somebody advise on this? Thanks 

We are back now and it is San Pedro Express Water Taxi. We used them and it worked out fine. The return times are a little funky as we had to catch the 12:00 return to assure that we got back to the tender port on time (2 hour difference) I would have liked to spend at least one more hour on the caye.

San Pedro Express took over the old Caye Caulker Water Taxi, up their price and haven't been as reliable.  So I would avoid San Pedro Express.

If Wade the Gringo has more current information, hope he reaches out to share.

 

Evidently there's a new player, Ocean Ferry, which seems to have similar schedule.  I know absolutely nothing about this service.  Do note the times are Belize City times and may be different from you ship time.

We`ve used Coral Breeze twice and it worked well. This time they canceled due to few people going. Looking for feedback on dependable service as we have to get back in time to catch the tender back to the ship. We`ll be there 8- 5 ship time. Thanks in advance. 

Doing a search, I saw that some other cruise lines provide you with distilled water. Anybody know if Carnival does. If not, can you bring it aboard? TIA.

The 7 day cruise spends the night in both of those ports.

Their website is not the easiest but it does list all port times. 

It looks like the Serenity Bar area on Lido deck Aft is a great place to have a sail~away gathering. Unfortunately, we have several in our group with kids. Does Carnival allow kids back there on sail~away day? If not, any ideas of an equal or better spot to watch land fade away? TIA
