  1. I just bought a mesh shower organizer to take on my next cruise. It has six pockets and a hook like a clothes hangar. I am hoping that it will hook over the showerhead and hold my shampoo, conditioner, bodywash, soap, etc. I take several medications/supplements, so I get some of the little tiny pill ziplock bags (in the pharmacy area at the store) and label them (ex, "before breakfast," "dinner," etc,) so I can just slip a day's worth of packets into my pocket or whatever bag I am carrying that day. It really helps keep me organized. I also take most of the things that you guys mentioned. Happy cruising, everyone!

  2. I always choose deck 7 on Carnival because, on most of their ships, there are only cabins above and below you. I do tend to get motion sick myself, and have tried all the remedies. I like an inside cabin because looking out at the waves bothers me sometimes. Stay as mid-ship as possible. We were upgraded to suites on our first cruise (on a cruise line that does not exist anymore), and were at the top fore of the ship. It was awful; just like a pendulum! Yes, you will feel the ship move more in the dining room and in the showroom; wear your sea-bands and take your meclizine. You might consider an anti-seasickness patch as well, just to be sure. But you will have fun, no matter what!

  3. I sailed on the Glory last November. They never sent an invitation to the Meet & Mingle, but scheduled it for the LAST sea day, right before early seating dinner. It was in the Fun Times; you just had to notice it. The cruise director and activity director showed up, but only a few people who had registered (not surprisingly.) We had pre-planned a get-together a cabin crawl on our own for the first sea day that was much better attended, but I was disappointed in Carnival's treatment of the people who had signed up. The Meet & Mingle should be on the first sea day, and people should be invited.

  4. I was on the Glory last November. We had a pretty active Roll Call group, and we decided to meet up on the first sea day to do a cabin crawl, which was coordinated by one of our members and fairly well attended. Carnival scheduled our Meet and Mingle for the last sea day --way too late. And right before early seating dinner.:( No invitations were sent; you had to notice it in the "Fun Times." Only a couple of people showed up. We chatted with the cruise director and the activities director. Big let down.
