  1. Just a note, I originally booked a VH obstructed, then called HAL and ordered Club Orange and I was able to upgrade to the V sideways cabin. You got to do it early though as I have had this cruise booked for over a year already.
  2. If you are sailing on the NS, Konigsdam or Rotterdam, you might want to look into the cabin numbers 5048, 5050, 5051, 5053. These are sideways cabins mid ship with larger size cabins and extended verandahs. I have one booked for this December and looking at the Youtube videos, it looks like a decent cabin.
  3. Exactly right kwokpot. I think that is the way to go for Carnival and would continue to reward the loyal Carnival cruisers. Maybe even beef up some of the higher tier rewards so that loyal cruisers would have a greater incentive to remain loyal.
  4. I am not talking about MSC perse'. I was just refrencing how their rewards system works and how Carnival should implement something like a time limit on their tier rewards, so that you have to actually be loyal to Carnival to maintain status.
  5. Personally, I would like to see something like what MSC has for their rewards program. If you don't cruise on a Carnival ship within 3 years, you drop a reward level. For instance, If you are diamond and don't cruise on Carnival for three years you drop down to platinum. Another 3 years and you drop to gold. I think that might winnow some of the locked in diamonds and platinums if they don't cruise every 3 years. If they do, then they have nothing to worry about in losing status. I would also like to see a tier between platinum and diamond (maybe emerald or something). Makes sense to me.
  6. We were on this cruise also. Stayed in an inside Havana cabin and really liked the havana area, expecially in the morning and evenings when it was less crowded. Weather was great in all three ports. Managed to come back with $500 of the casin's money 😁.
  7. On one of my Chase Southwest cards I had a 35$ off $100, along with a couple of the 15% off offers on a couple of my other Chase cards.
