  1. Royal does have set fees where you can "buy out" the entire restaurant so it would be completely private but extremely expensive otherwise you will be a table of 15 in a very full restaurant.
  2. It will be confiscated before even getting to your room and you will be able to.pick it up the last day as you leave the ship.
  3. They do not. 2D are double occupancy rooms. I've been in many different double occupancy rooms on Odyssey and other Q class ships and none would convert to a trundle.
  4. Stood in line yesterday waiting to get off the ship while a 19 yo tried without success to escort her younger sister off the ship. Had to call the parents who left 30 minutes prior to come back to the ship so the younger sister could go ashore.
  5. Please come back and let us know which is correct.
  6. Honestly, I'd take a sofa vs most of tje sofabeds ive slept on.
  7. Until your cabin is assigned there is no point worrying about it as yo could very well be assigned a J3 with a pullout sofa
  8. It all depends on the class of ship. Symphony does not have pullmans. It also does not have the small loveseats that many of the cabins that have pullmans have. I was answering specifically for what they have done on Symphony and other Oasis class ships
  9. Royal is now putting 3 people in a double occupancy room by making up the sofa into a bed, which is all that they have done for most of the rooms that they have that now accommodate 3 but not 4 guests
  10. No complains about the motion, can't remember what deck they were on.
  11. I had friends stay innone of those on Icon and they loved it.
  12. They are all the way forward so if there is motion you will feel it
  13. There is NO DIFFERENCE in the deposits between refundable and non refundable,
  14. If it was done at next cruise it can be done without a release of the TA on the booking. Have done it on several occasions.
  15. You need a letter from tje cruise line showing yhe cancellation penalty.
  16. If it is shortly after the booking was made on board then yes they will pull it from the other TA at your written request and they do not need anything from the other TA as it was a next cruise error as they should have asked you. Generally this request needs to be done within 30 days.
  17. Yhe daughter was not a no show. Thet replaced her. The other issurmes is they waited until after tje cruise which is also a big no.
  18. They will need a letter from Royal for the insurance company and Royal can't provide the letter as she was technically not cancelled.
  19. Based on the information given by the OP, they had 9 people in 4 rooms. That means 3 rooms of 2 and one triple. They maybe could have moved to granddaughter to the triple turning it into a quad but there are also lots of rooms on Harmony that only accommodate 3 so it is quite possible that moving the GD to another room was not even possible. This may have been the only option to preserve the rooms and in this case all they would get back is the taxes. What should have happened and this would be the only refund they would be entitled to is the third guest and the daughter swap cabins putting the daughter who did not sail in as the third guest and then cancel her after that change at least getting a small amount back. I would suggesting contacting yje executive offices and see about getting the refund gor the third guests fare.
  20. There are also plenty of doors / locks that are locked from one side yet can be opened from the other. Not sure why so many want to doubt your experience.
  21. I agree 100% that you won't see anything as small as Vision or Radiance class but ships thst small have never been mentioned.
  22. We will just have to agree to disagree on where Royal is heading.
  23. Voyager class 137K Tonnes. Edge 130k tones. Every reference has been to VY They still need ships that can fit into the smaller ports. Jumping up in size would put them too close to Quantum and reduce the ports.
