  1. I'm guessing $50. Sounds like maybe their TA moved them into a group after final.
  2. Great to hear. What you just described is why it is so important to get a copy of Royals invoice from the TA. It will list the actual final payment date.
  3. Hold off on the luggage tags (there really is no rush) Chances are you cabin will be officially assigned shortly and you can print off proper luggage tags
  4. The acknowledgement the OP received is standard when you cancel the cruise before cancelling the items in the cruise planner. Many times in this situation it takes a call to get the refunds pushed through
  5. You need to go back and look again. There are cabins for 2, 3 or 4 guests with a choose your room option for every category of room for the Sept 29th sailing on the Indy. The ship is no where ear being sold out
  6. Things like this are rarely as the result of something Royal has initiated fleetwide but instead due to an over zealous Hotel Director or F&B manager trying to make their bonus.
  7. After final payment refundable or non refundable don't matter. You follow the cancellation schedule. It's only before final payment that deposit type matters.
  8. You can't pay the $100 change fee after final payment. The change fee only applies to bookings before final payment. After final payment you go by the cancellation schedule. They would lose more than the deposit by cancelling. Other than during Covid Royal never gave OBC for price drops after final payment unless you go back over 20 years
  9. Unfortunately as others have mentioned your TA won't be able to do anything as it is after final payment. It is not up to them. They just follow the same rules that Royal has for all guests regardless of who they booked through.
  10. Odyssey has not yet sailed from Bayonne but take a look at the menus being served on the Symphony for the current sailing as she is doing the exact same itinerary
  11. Not sure why they can't buy it until you are on the ship unless you have put one of them in the room with each of you and you don't want to purchase it. If this is the case just be aware that on board the same requirements will still apply and each guest in the room would have to purchase the package. You getting free drinks in the casino does not count as having a package.
  12. They open up once you are on board. Make the reservations through the app
  13. Change the app to Symphony's current sailing and look at the menu's there.
  14. The restricting of the Crown lounge to D+ will not affect you. As mentioned it is for happy hour only
  15. As other have mentioned, anything purchased through the cruise planner will be refunded. because you cancelled without cancelling the cruise planner items forst will result in a delayed refund and you may even have to call as they do sometimes get "hung up" and they need to manually initiate the refund.
  16. Have your travel agent call Royal and then have them ask the rep to call over to the dining department and get it changed. Even when it is showing as not available 9 times out of 10 I am able to get it changed.
  17. If you cancel you will get back taxes, and gratuities
  18. Almost correct. It would have been correct a couple of years ago but now it is all balconies on OA class that hold 4 will have the bed by the bath. They changed a bunch of cabins from double occupancy to triple and those can have the bed in either location
  19. Friends and family are last minute rates. Put yourself and one friend in one room and hubby and friend in the other...both rooms get the D discount. Change rooms on board.
  20. Time flies, it was April 28 we sailed and returned May 5.
  21. Sailed out of Bayonne 3 weeks ago and no one payed any attention to the boarding time. We were on board shortly after 10:30am
