You're not only ordering everything I would but that's how my wife and I eat pizza, lol.

I'm about to get takeout later... which we then throw in the oven to make it crispy b/c even asking for it well done at a cheap pizza place doesn't get it done.

What kind of pizza did you get? I'm still trying to figure out how I fit pizza into a dinner that already includes filet and carbonara, lol. I eat a lot on cruises but...

And congrats on the casino win!

I’m just getting the Margarita pizza. Not as filling and leaves room for the mains. Anyway, I have a feeling we’re long lost brothers. 😂

I'd order it either way b/c there are so many variables and I love carbonara but good to hear.

Gio’s had the best Filet this week, plus we love the extra crispy pizza. Found out we had to order it that way to get the Char. Anyway, cancelled Hooked for lunch tomorrow

and will head to Izumi Sushi.

On another note, still need to find Dee. 😁

ps….also got my first hand pay. Thanks RCCL! All three of us played enough to get each one of us a balcony and free play on the AOS next April. Yay!

  3. We actually enjoyed Carbonara at Giovanni’s. We kind of like a bit of salt. 😁 Actually had our first terrible dinner last night at Hooked. They’re training a new Chef I heard. Ordered Surg & Turf. Lobster, excellent. Ordered Filet medium rare, came our well done. Honestly, I wouldn’t have complained since we got a great UDP deal, but the waiter insisted on bringing another to my DW & I. N ct set of steaks? Yep, well well done. Last set can put raw. Ugh. Other than that, all

    has been great

I'm not even a country fan but they really were great... and they will play non-country. I heard some funny story about them doing a Backstreet Boys song or something, lol. Told ya the bar was very popular. Glad you liked it all!

I'm sure you'll like brunch. The blackberry moonshine lemonade was a nice drink for that time of day too but the food would be just as delicious with water.

What did you like about dinner there? We're doing brunch again in March but then we'll be D+ so I'm planning ahead for BOGO's (since they may or may not let us use it on brunch and we also want to try Giovanni's Kitchen for dinner). I'm sure I'd enjoy it and my wife tried some dinner items at brunch that she liked, but I've heard quite a few people say the BBQ wasn't very good.

I thought the ribs were pretty good. My son had the chicken sandwich and he said the brine on it was really tasty. Christine had the chicken and it looked good. Funny thing is they didn’t have green tomatoes so we had the fried “ripe” tomatoes. 😂 Gede, our waiter, was awesome! Looking forward to brunch, and will do the “Mike” recommended drink. 😁

When the Pacific Princess - aka The Love Boat, spent its last year as a Princess ship doing NY to Bermuda cruises, we just had to go on it. It was so hard to get around just like what you said for Empress. On day 1, I saw from an upper deck a sun deck below that I liked and it took me the whole week to figure out how to get to it! I’m not kidding! It was so confusing and it was a small ship! Only 680 passengers on that cruise.

So glad we did it, it was our all time favorite cruise,  the cruise director was so good.  I don’t know who she was but she was hilarious. And the food was absolutely delicious!!

We sailed Sovereign over a dozen times when we lived in Jax. Then Majesty/Monarch. What a difference between those ships and the Oasis class. Boarding the Wonder this Sunday.

  6. Nordic Empress was our first cruise in 1990. One of our coolest cruise was on the S.S. Norway. So much Teak and kind of crazy how hallways would run sideways off the main hallway. Oh, and smoking was allowed in the cabins back then, we had to walk past clouds of smoke to get to our cabin. Ugh

Oh my gosh—83 cruises on RCCL!! Did you start when you were a baby? Seriously, you should be doing my cruising video channel instead of me!  Looking forward to meeting you on board as well; I’d love to talk to you about your RCCL history and experience!

Started in 1990 on the Nordic Empress, which later became Empress of the Seas. Did a bunch of Disney, Holland America & NCL cruises too, plus some smaller cruise lines like Dolphin & Majesty Cruise Line. I watched one your youtube blogs, I won't be able to miss you. 🙂 Look forward to meeting you......Bill

Don’t mean to change the subject, but what kind of lights are your blocks sitting on? I’m guessing they are lights.

Got them from Amazon. They light up four or five different colors. I'll take a pic of them lighted when I get back home. This shelf is my 26year old son's blocks. Ours are in my closet. 😉
