  1. I'm sailing in October, so I know a lot can change by then.....hopefully for the better. I'd love to experience a back to normal ship, but I know that probably won't be the case. If anyone know anything, I'd love to hear it.
  2. I was just on the Summit for 10 days. There were no openings to reserve before the cruise. Once on board there were plenty. We went on night 3 and found the food much better than the MDR, so we booked again for the last night.
  3. A few dollars is fine. Just keep your expectations low for the quality of the food. If you’re a breakfast person, you may find it lacking.
  4. I know. Hendricks didn’t show up until day 8. At least not for me.
  5. With the fairly significant increase in upgrade cost per day, (our upgrade cost for 10 days was $360). going forward for the next several months, I would just pay the difference per drink. I think you’ll come out on top…..especially if you don’t drink a lot.
  6. I also just got off the Summit this am. On the whole, enjoyed the cruise, but one of the biggest issues I had was the lack of drink selection. I have 2 main drinks of choice. Tanqueray Gin and pretty much any Sav Blanc from New Zealand, I couldn’t find either one anywhere on this cruise. We upgraded as soon as we got on the ship but soon started to question whether it was worth it. I always have an Aperol Spritz at lunch, and they ran out of Aperol on like day 8 I think. Yesterday I ordered one if the MDR for lunch just to see, figuring they would come back and tell me they were out. NOPE they brought one, but made it with Campari…thinking I wouldn’t taste the difference? Or notice the slightly more red in color? It’s more of the deception that bothers me…..just be honest.
