  1. Hi folks, I have been trying to make a payment through my My Cruises and its giving me the following error "We're sorry, but we are unable to retrieve your booking information at this time. For assistance, please call 866-562-7625."

I called Royal Caribbean, they didn't know why it was giving me this error. They escalated it to their IT department and no luck. They did assure me that my booking was still on record.

I know that I can make a payment over the phone, but was wondering if anyone else was having the same issue.

  2. We took our little girl when she was almost 3 years old.

We brought a stroller and put her in that when we wanted to walk around the decks to get her to take a nap. She would fall asleep and we would just lay the seat down.

I'm taking my son (3.5 yo @ cruise time) to his 2nd cruise (6 months was his first). We took our b-agile britax stroller on the last one and it was too big. I had to keep it outside the room at night.

This time around I'm looking into a umbrella stroller for napping and excursions on the island. He enjoys walking but need it in case he gets tired. He is very active.

What stroller did you use for the 3yo?

  3. I would expect both the bottle warmer and your heat coil to be confiscated based on having a heating element.

When I went on the oasis in 2013 I took the bottle warmer and had no issues. My 6 month old was a happy kid. The heating coil I would only assume would give me an issue.

  4. Do you have, or do you know someone who will lend you a bottle warmer? If you can't be guaranteed warm milk, bring this with you, along with a bottle, and warm it that way, then transfer it to her cup. It will only take up a little space in your suitcase, but it's worth it to not break routine and cause trouble going to sleep. (My daughter liked warm milk all the way until kindergarten, so I know how hard it can be to get warm milk when you're not at home.)

I bought this recently to take on my upcoming cruise on the Allure. It's an alternative to the bottle warmer and it small and easy to pack. My sister used it when her kids were little years ago. I'm not sure if it's in the naughty list.

  5. There is a current CC user that is on a B2B cruise on the Allure that you might want to check out. He is giving live day-to- day reviews and periscopes. Last week he was on the eastern Caribbean and as of this Sunday he is on the western Caribbean route.

  6. We are somewhat heavy packers anyway, but we have definitely figured out by now what we really need to take. :D

We took our own pack'n'play for the first 4 cruises, and now a small travel cot for our son.

Do you have any packing tips of things that Parents of 3 year olds should take that can make it a little easier?

Also you mentioned you have a small travel cot for your son. How old is your son and what is the brand/model of the travel cot?

I was planning on taking the pack n play but now I'm starting to think that he may be too big for it. The boardwalk room we booked doesn't have a sofa bed.

  7. As for the showers, I wished I had listened to the CC advice of bringing a small blow-up pool to stick in the shower as a make-shift tub. Instead I just brought her in the shower and it didn't go over very well!

I took my son 3 years ago on the Oasis (he was then 6 mo) and this worked awesome. I'm taking him now on the Allure at the end of July (now 3 yrs) and I was wondering if I needed to bring it. I'm glad you brought this up.

  8. Hey Everyone!

Just booked a cruise for the end of July! Woohoo! However, I put on about 20 pounds in 2 years. My cruise last summer had half of the current weight gain, so now I am definitely on my way to lose before I cruise. There is NO WAY I'm not going to be confident, happy, and healthy this time around!

Who is with me?! We have 4-5 months until July!

I know I need some encouragement and accountability, so this is for all of my fellow summer cruisers!

What are your goals? How is everyone doing with their goals?

I am starting today with a goal of losing 25-30 pounds by the end of July!

    Let's do this!!!!

I'm booked for the Allure on 7/24 and I have to lose at least 50lbs by then. I'm going to start on Monday the 21 Day Fix. Have you guys heard about it? I will also be cycling. I'm hoping to be able to go 3 times a week. We'll see how that goes.

  9. No discounts apply since you have to pre-purchase before you board. Just purchased mine for March 26th on the Oasis, 4 devices for $210.00 instead of the $250.00 on board with the C&A discount.

I saw on another thread that if you want the C&A discount on the VOOM not to pre-purchase. That you needed to be on the boat to get the discount. How did you get it? Over phone? Website? TIA

  11. It's technically not allowed, but they don't usually enforce it. If you're traveling during spring break it's more likely to be confiscated, any other time you should be fine

How do you bring it onboard? Just the case of water along with your carry on right? No special packaging required?

  12. Thank you for taking us along your trip. I'm loving the fact that I'm working and enjoying the sights at the same time.

I hope your mom had a good 1st day and she's feeling better today to enjoy the ship. She is BIG! (the ship)

When you have a chance, can you take a picture of the section in the Cruise Compass (CC) where it has all the hours of operation? Based on the information you have provided thus far, I've created this spreadsheet. Hopefully it will be similar along the way with other CC I find from here to July (Allure 7/24).

I'll continue to update the spreadsheet, based on what you provide through the board.
