We have 6 days to go and CD emails still says check back nearer. I guess it won't change before we sail, but doesn't matter as I will wait till we board.

Don't know what the big deal is with him.
I am about to find out in the MDR next week.
-
Have a great cruise, look forward to your posts. We are on her next.:D

We always take at least our own shampoo & conditioner.
-
We buy all our packages including excursions online weather we save or not, at least it is sorted.

Mid ship lower best for us, even though they say "the more you pay the less you sway", not sure if that is true or not.:)
-
If it was me, I would try and get out now if possible.
-
I don't have a preferred line, I like to try different lines at this stage of my cruising. As others have said, do some homework but remember that everyones opinion will differ.

Reassuring to hear. Perhaps Curtis Stone's reputation would be better served if one entree on the regular dinner menu each evening is a Curtis Stone "preparation" as opposed to replacing the "always available" options with three CS entrees that were not appealing visually or taste wise.
Yes, I definitely agree with that.

Nice review, thank you and glad you enjoyed it.

9 days Yes!!!

Thanks all for that. I have never had any problems previously going early and always got straight onboard and will do so again this time. Was just curious about the staggered times.:D

Thank you for your review.

what are you referring to?
you didn't quote the post that you like.
Sorry I forgot to press quote!. Forget about it as this thread is a bit rough now.

very true.

And even then it may depend on who you talk to at Royal and also what the ship's staff has to say-they would be the final answer.
So True.

Hi,
\
Well I will try its no fun at 40oc for anyone , and you will like Golden Princess .. She is a nice comfortable ship.
There are some very nice features in her design that in some ways made me prefer her over the Solstice, my brief impressions were that the food was perhaps not quite as good as that on Celebrity and a few things were not quite as well thought out .. but this is not a "Bad" ship and the staff on board were mainly very nice.
And when I am well enough we may give her another try , but until I am well it would be foolish to go again on any cruise
Regards
John
Thank's John, I hope you do get well soon and have another cruise.:)

On all my previous cruises on other lines, boarding has always been top to lower deck order with exceptions of suites and frequent cruisers etc. I was pleasantly surprised when Princess emailed me yesterday with the staggered boarding times for Golden in Melbourne had been brought forward. We are on "E" deck and are second to board at 12.30pm, stating you have to show your boarding pass at the security gate.
Not complaining just curious if this is the norm for Princess.:D

I thought they left them there so we could take extra towels when we need them.:D
I like that one!!!.:D When I see the cart, I like to say "Hello" to my steward.:)
-
We just laminate them so they don't break, if you don't have a laminator then they cost about 2 bucks each at a print shop.
-
Comedians on the Solstice were great as well.
-
Good to hear it all went well.
-
IMHO I would suggest inside, you should be able to see outdoors when needed via TV link.

It is probable best you contact RCL to get an accurate answer.

It would pay to make sure you get that in writing on an email straight way.
