Yes, the Ultimate VIP cruises are VERY crowded in the casino. I have done a couple and probably, not saying never, will not do one again.

If anyone is in the Biloxi area...we went to the Palace Casino and it is a great SMOKE FREE casino. It was just voted the No. 1 overall casino resort on the Gulf Coast by Casino Player magazine.

Just got back from Biloxi. Biloxi has a very nice SMOKE FREE casino and hotel....The Palace. If anyone plays golf, The Preserve, which is associated with The Palace, is a great course in spectacular condition with very little play.

Looks like most tour operators are in Palm Beach. Are there any catamaran trips that leave from Eagle Beach? Ideally, we are looking for one that has fewer than 15 or 20 people on board. Thanks!

What are the differences between Caribbean Princess  Aft mini suites E731 and 730 and Dolphin 732 and 733? I know Emerald is above Club Fusion but that has not been a problem in the past. Is one deck more covered than the other? Any advantages to either deck or side? Thanks.

Our 9/12 Caribbean Princess sailing out of Quebec City has been cancelled.

If you love kids and people having meals with baseball caps on do NCL. A lot of NCL cruisers are there to have a fun filled drinking week. A lot of Oceania cruisers have experienced that and have moved on. We are NCL Platinum Plus cruisers and have “matured” to Oceania. If you are a gambler and smoke do NCL. If you are a gambler and don’t smoke....Oceania is for you.

Our terrible experience has made us (Platinum Plus on NCL) to solely go on Princess (no smoking on tables) and Oceania (no smoking in entire casino). 

They did not make any announcements related to non gamblers not being able to smoke on the Dawn last week.

Could not see any damage but we were pretty far away. Didn’t look like much work was going on, if any. Only 4 or 5 people with bright vests were walking on pier.

We tendered this week on the Dawn.

We have been on over 20 cruises, mostly with NCL. We understand that some gamblers smoke in the casino. We are on the Dawn now and have NEVER seen so much smoking.Numerous non gamblers sit on the window seats, stand in the aisles, and sit at the bar and smoke day and night. Last night, a lady was sitting at my Three Card Poker table, not playing, and smoking several cigarettes. When I pointed that out to 2 pit bosses, they said “she played earlier.”  Can you imagine if all smoking gamblers that “played earlier” just sat at gaming tables and smoked without playing!

I had to ask the pit boss twice last night to tell someone who was standing next to the table smoking to “move on”. These complaints have been given to management in writing and verbally. There has been no improvement so it appears that it is OK to just use the Dawn Casino as an indoor smoking venue and not even act like you are gambling. 
 

I understand smokers have rights. Just want to give non smoking gamblers, that may be thinking of going on the Dawn, an idea of what they will encounter.

Unless things have greatly improved, if your ship docks at Terminal 2, it will take much longer to disembark due to small terminal and other issues. The airport will not be the issue....Terminal 2 is. Hopefully things have improved.

That pier must have opened last week because we were there two weeks ago and it had a lot of work to go before it opened.

Holiday Inn Express on 17th...great location and you can leave your car. They have a Park and Cruise Package. It is within walking distance of port, depending on which pier your ship is docked.

Will be in the Dawn 2/20 the same day that RCL Harmony of the Seas will be at Coxen Hole. I have read the NCL ship usually has to tender when they are there at same time as RCL. Is this still true?

if we have to tender and are NOT on an NCL excursion, does it take a long tome to get on the tender and get to shore? I am assuming those on NCL excursions will be on the first tenders.

Thanks to everyone. We booked the Hotel Le Priori for our Sept. cruise. Good thing since there was only 1 room left.

Any recommendations for Quebec City hotel the night before a cruise? Our first night on the ship will be overnight if that matters. Thanks.
