  1. Hi Jim,For Huahine look up Marc's Motu Picnic tour on TripAdvisior. We went on his tour two years ago and am booked again for our Aug.29th trip. Lots of fish and clams to see and a really great lunch. You can't go wrong.:):)

  2. Hello, I will be going to Fakarava in Sept. and am looking for information from the past cruisers on how to get in touch with Alto. I'm not sure if it's the same as Fakarava Excursions or not. Been on the PG the past 2 years but this is a first to these islands. Please help!!! :confused:I know someone knows out there.

  3. Jim you won't have any problems going from terminal 1 to ATN. Just think of the airport as a horseshoe and ATN is in the middle of the horseshoe. You can actually walk from terminal one to ATN if you don't have tons of luggage. We usually have one rolling bag and one carry on each and I have my purse and he carries my camera bag. They just refurnish the Tom Bradley terminal and there are lots of places to eat and walk through. There are some places upstairs you can also sit before the check in counters open up. Have a great trip and can't wait for your pictures. We're on countdown now too. August 29 can't can fast enough for us. Third trip in three years. Been very blessed to be able to keep going back to the South Pacific and enjoy the people and the land.:D:D:D

  4. Usually if you go on one of the longer cruises or during January thru May or the end of August to the middle of November you will not have very many if any kids on board. I hope this helps anyone who is planning a trip on the Paul Gauguin.

  5. Jim enjoy your time on the Paul Gauguin. We have to wait until August, but it will be number three in three years. You will catch the flu,it's hard not to. Maybe you will be lucky and win the ship chart, like we did last year. Just had it framed for my husband Christmas present. 6. We have been on deck 3 and 4. We love deck 4 because I like being greeted in the morning from the crew working at the first desk every morning. You also could see the temp. chart to see how the weather was for the day. I like the big windows in the rooms too. When we go back in 2015 it will be on deck 4.

  7. Yes it was a nightmare but it wasn't all PG fault either. There was suppose to be 5 officers but like you said it was on a Sunday and they did not show up. PG was trying to get the ones that had early shore excursions through first but it still did not work very good. But as Espi was making a comment about being ask to cover up, it is a place to eat and not a pool hang out so I believe they were in their right to ask her to cover up while she was in the Le Grill. I'm not going to let one problem spoil my whole trip. We had a wonderful time on the Aug. 30 Fiji to Tahiti trip and can not wait to go back on the PG for our third trip.Thank you to the crew that worked so hard for us.

  8. Espi, I know it's not a PG excursion but why don't you join us on the Teking excursion. We went on it in Nov. and had a great time and we are sign up to take it again this trip. If you want more information about him just look on TripAdvisor. Can't wait to get on the plane next Thurs. See you then, Janine:)
