  1. Hi, we are from Scotland and going with Celebrity in a few weeks on an Asian cruise. My TA said as we are from the UK and not staying over 15 days in Vietnam we will not require a visa for there. Just looking to check how anyone from UK had got on re visa when they cruised there. Thanks.

Molecular bar has been gone for several years. That franchise expired and was replaced by the world class bar but there wasn't one of those on EDGE. That indicates they may disappear from S Class if there isn't one on the new ships.

  3. I am a platinum crown and anchor member and sailing soon on Navigator of the Seas. My mum and sis had this cruise booked and I have just joined their booking and sharing their superior balcony cabin. This is their first time sailing with RCI and my question is as we are all sharing the same cabin do they receive the same benefits such as bathrobes, priority check in etc. Thank you

  4. I just called........True. Seems better.........$55 per day for the deluxe...... we'll see....... it does lend for more choices.........I think.

BUT.........does it include the 18% gratuity? I don't think so.......... now it's $536 CAD is that's the case, versus $472 for the current Premium package.

    Thoughts?

Trying to work out whether to buy the package. Can anyone give me an idea how much a vodka and Coke costs? Thanks

  5. Not true, it was not usable at Qsine which had a specialty cocktail menu. It was also not usable on the ergonomic wine machines that were in Cellarmasters. It was also not usable at the molecular bar when that still was around......

Don't know about the wine machines in Cellarmasters but I deffo used the premier drink package last year in the Molecular bar on the Solstice and the year before on the Sillhouette. Fab cocktails they were too!

  6. and it can be used in all bars on NCL with the exception of the Ice Bar, which has a $20 cover that includes 2 drinks. Everywhere else is good. The ice bar you are really paying more for the experience I think, rather than the drinks.

Thank u again. They have something on their web page which states it can be used in every bar and restaurant on the ship so that is quite misleading. Other than that how did u find the ship? It looks amazing.

  7. I'm sure that the ship will have some sort of sailaway party, listed in the daily bulletin -- which you should receive upon boarding. Also, if you join the roll-call for your sailing, you may find that they have some sort of "unofficial" meet-n-greet planned for sailaway. Either way, you shouldn't have to look very far for a party, that day!

Thank you, I hope there will be. The reason I asked was when I did a RCI cruise around Oz and NZ 14 months ago they did not have one. Every cruise apart from that one have always had one.

  8. I love to cruise solo, I do what I want when I want. I get a large table for dinner and meet so many interesting people. I am very sorry to hear you lost your husband but go and enjoy yourself.

This was an old thread, but thank you anyway for replying. I did the cruise to Oz and NZ last Nov and had an amazing time. I stayed 2 nights in Perth before boarding the ship and did a tour taking in the sights of both Freemantle and Perth. Beautiful. On the ship I was seated at a table for 10 and could not have wished for better table companions. They were so welcoming. Yes, there were times when I felt a bit sad that my husband was not with me, but I would have no hesitation in doing another solo cruise.
