Hello all
Just wanted to thank you again :D
We decided not to do formal wear, just dressed smartly.
We did as suggested and went to Verona trattoria, only waited five minutes, had a wonderful meal, could not fault it. We got there at half eight and restaurant was only third full. Fab :D We had a window seat and the sun was just setting. Beautiful :)

I was also on that cruise, I was disappointed like you but the decision wasn't taken lightly and was entirely safety driven was was explained to us. I felt quite sorry for the staff who were due time off but had to work instead....
Oh yes not moaning just stating (as per my original smiley face at end of first post)
I said to my husband that the captain was great in keeping us informed, and being nervous when "choppy" this was greatly appreciated rather than not knowing what was going on :)

It would have been nice if we could gone somewhere else :)

Hello can I ask please
I am booked on the anthem but booked via UK website
If the price drops can I get my cruise reduced or because it is through UK website it is not allowed?
if not allowed but say the balcony price comes down to what originally paid can I upgrade free of charge?
Many thanks :D

Hi :)
Yes, the first night was rough (I did not sleep), the captain said it would be, then on Sunday the captain advised early in the morning the port was closed, so we got there, turned around and came back

Well I asked for thoughts on whether bruge or blankenberge
Well went on Saturday, rough crossing and unable to dock at zeebrugge
Did not expect that in may :D
-
Ah I can't decide whether to do Brugge or try blankenberge :o
Was going for blankenberge then someone in work said Brugge is lovely
Is blankenberge as "pretty" as Brugge?
Last year we went to Cherbourg on a two day and thought it was lovely.
Probably an obvious question but where would I find out what time we leave port please. Thank you :) -
Get the shuttle bus into blankenburg and then get the train into Brugge, around 11 minutes past the hour going and around 35 minutes past the hour returning, cost is approx 6 euros return, although it was cheaper at the weekend, very reliable clean trains, journey on the train takes 10 minutes or so. You can then either walk into Brugge centre from the train station which is around 15 minutes or get a taxi or bus..we do it this way whenever we visit Brugge. We tend to get the earliest shuttle bus and train, have a few hours in Brugge, then return around 1:30 and have a wander around blankenburg before getting the shuttle back to the ship. Brugge is very expensive, we paid 11.50 euros for a gin and lemonade and 19 euros for 2 medium beers..the waffles are fabulous! Have a good trip!
Hello. How much do you think a taxi from Brugge train station to centre is please
Ps were the waffles as dear as the drink :) -
Thank you all for coming back so quickly, it is appreciated :D
I think I read there is a kettle in your room, do they replenish tea bags, coffee and milk daily please.
Great to know re water as that is mainly what I drink, and that it does not have be bottled
Thank you again :)

Hello
Has anyone stayed at holiday inn at Herbert walker avenue, southampton and walked to departure area? Wondering how long it takes please.
Will it be allowed to take half dozen bottles water on board and maybe one bottle alcohol?
It is only a two nighter, apart from the buffet is there any other restaurant open for lunch please, and your recommendations
Thsnk you so much :D

Don't worry, the dress code wars seem to be a thing of the past. If i wanted to be controversal about it I could say that as Britannia is only going to have 2 dress codes like Ventura the wars must be over, with the casual side the winner. Or maybe an armistice with advantageous terms for the casual side :) P&O splitting their fleet into 2 groups helps as well.
It is interesting to see what is happening elsewhere with one specialist restaurant formal every night and no formal anywhere else.
Hello :D
Can I ask what are the two dress codes for ventura and Britannia please
B stands for the deck you are on.
I know it's me  but how do I find out what deck it is please :D -
Thank you all again for all your help, it is appreciated.
Can I also ask if room starts "B7.." Does the "B" relate to stateroom on deck 7?
Thank you :D -
We don't know yet. It may not be that long since they are allowing next year's Quantum cruises to book dining on May 15. I wonder if Anthem sailing will be able to as well.
Oh exciting times, didn't expect that, fingers crossed :D

Hello again :D

Do o and o provide transfers. If so how much please

Thsnk you :D -
Hi
There is three night in may 2015. When can I book restaurants. After PIF date next year? This is for the anthem :)
-
Thank you everyone, certainly interested in this :)
-
I really do appreciate your help and patience
So on a formal night, I can eat here smart casual and just pay for the items marked extra?
Can I pre book this restaurant?
In the buffet restaurant for dinner, do you have the same type of food as you would in main restaurants?
Thank you again Dave I assume :)
-
For Azura the venues where formal dress is required on formal nights are the 3 main dining rooms, Oriental, Peninsular and Meridian, the Sindhu and Seventeen cover charge restaurants, The Planet bar and the Blue bar.
Wearing evening casual clothes you can go everywhere else. Venetzia buffet, Verona trattoria, Glasshouse bar and restaurant, Brodies bar, Java bar, Malibar caberet and bar, Manhatten entertainment lounge and bar, Playhouse theatre, the Casino, plus of course the shops :D
Hi
Found the Verona, which you pay extra for but can go smart casual? Can anyone tell me how much extra it is to visit this restaurant please
Thank you
-
Thank you so much. At least I know if we decide not to do formal, we won't have to eat in the buffet then go straight to our room ;)
-
Hi
If we decide to do the buffet will we be allowed to go in the shops or theatre etc please
-
Hi
Just booked two nighter.
I think one of the night is classed as formal
Do you find people wear tuxedo or is it ok for men to wear trousers, shirt etc
If it is tuxedo and we don't want to, can we eat in the buffet in smart casual clothing please
Thank you
