We are definitely going to sign up for this package. Do they also take candids and include them in the package? On our previous cruises, they had face recognition technology that automatically assigned photos to us that were taken around the ship.

they do some candids, like dinning room... not sure about the package deal... I know our embark was not included..

I am looking to book the photo package for my family is the cost per person on the $99 or for the cabin? Is it tied to the purchasers cabin card?

99 whole cabin. We used one card to swipe at the photographer. Made it easy.

Where did you pick up your coupons? Is it true they don't sell them on board anymore?

they were in our cabin alittle while after we got onboard.. cabin steward I believe delivered them..

Any idea of the cost of the slide boarding slide and do you happen to know by chance the height/weight restrictions on the regular slides?

slide board was free... just register for the slides and zip line at the entrance to the jungle pool.. where the kids pool area is.. u will see a line.. have to get a band and sign a wavier...

Glad to see a positive review. I read that they ran out of food the first night. Did you hear that? Presumably you didn't experience it or you would have mentioned it. How was the crew?

 

Also, disappointed to hear that the 8th floor buffet is turned into MDR overflow for dinner. How late is the upstairs buffet open and did it have a decent selection for after-dinner snacks?

 

Update: I found a post with pictures of the dailies and it appears that the deck 16 buffet only has pizza available at dinner.

the marketplace on 8 is a real restaurant at night.. deck 16 has a full buffet for dinner... its a smaller version.... we did 16 for the after dinner snacks...

Hello can you tell me if there was food in the sports bar and if so was it "free" or an extra fee? Thank you!!

we only used app, but I'm sure there are other ways... either kiosks or tv?

What can the Fantastica coupons be used for other than booze (not much of a drinker).

Thanks! Sailed Divina last year and loved all the shows. How far in advance do the shows have to be booked? On Divina the entertainment staff greeted the guests as they walked into the theatre and entertained before the show, is it the same with Seaside?

we booked the morning of the show... we didn't see the staff as that was on the Divina...

Can you use the fantastica coupons on gelato as well? Thanks for the great update!

yes we did, but I would ask first as things may change... it was very good...

the door actually sealed and not run all over the floor like the Divina's..

The nightly shows were great.. if you have seen the divina's shows they are kind of similar.. very good !! did not keep the dailys... also you have to book your shows... I like this system.. the app really works good.. it will locate you and give you directions... the theater is smaller than that of the Divina.. the Venchi chocolate bar was amazing... use used a lot of fantastica coupons there...

Casino... was it really all smoking in the entire casino or did they give us non-smokers their own "section" ???

I didn't notice any smoke in the casino.. I assumed it was all non smoking... but not 100 percent sure..

13240 fantastica balcony, weather was perfect

We had a great cruise !! the ship is awesome.. video to come... I bought the 1500 + 200 meg internet online and was given 6000.. don't know if this was a mistake or a system test... buy the all digital 99 dollar package online... wish I would have,,, I bought the 10 pics and digitals for 79... now you download the pics from the internet.. with a code... I downloaded all to phone before leaving ship... they said it will be a week before we can access them at home... up to 3 months to download... good times... the buffet is a restaurant at night... deck 16 buffet is very convenient though smaller... if you are looking for a photographer, a guy named Eldorado is a true artist... more to come... I was able to get some really unique video.. looking forward to editing...water park is great !!

Ok, update to wine in buffet... evidently they didn't have the right code on my card from day one... if you have the meal time package. You will have a 734...right above the restaurant...

They have wine in buffet. House wine... they reversed a lot of charges because we have used tickets when we really didn't have to... also they made it right!!! The code we had was 764 which us for the dining package... but the 734 should have been there also...

Beamafar. Oh I understand. Just because one bar attendant on msc doesn't mean that's the policy. My thought is they booked under the free meal drinks with obc... but clearly he said no free wines In the Buffet bar... as the selection is different. We saw a guy trying to get a glass in the buffet yesterday. Not sure if he finally got it... we don't drink so this is a no. Issue for us.

I talked to the buffet bar person.. he said there are no free wines in the buffet. Only main dining room... said the selection is different.... We had galaxy last night and steakhouse tonight. So I'll ask tomorrow night.

Go to msc website under the repurchased stuff.. you will see the meal time be package.. I assume u got it free for booking. And 50 inc?

We are onboard right now and love the mealtime package.. I. The buffet for lunch we go to the back bar as it's less crowded... they said no breakfast drinks with the meal time... on top of that the fantastica drinks... awesome package.

No loungers... but the previous guest may have gotten one from the upper deck and brought it down. They will not do this for you... They should have loungers..plenty of room.
