  1. monkey@cruise and DaKahuna -- your input would be appreciated

We are on Celebrity Millennium scheduled to arrive in Yokohama at 6:30 am on Sunday, April 20, 2025.  We would be waiting on line to walk off with luggage once ship is cleared.  Is it possible to go thru customs and get to Haneda in time to take an 11:00 am flight back to the states?

    Thanks

  3. Just off the phone with Captain's Club --  Booked two restaurants for upcoming cruise online.  15% discount was not applied.  Representative indicated 15% discount will be applied as non-refundable onboard credit.  We need to request credit through Captain's Club representative once on board.

    Has this been your experience?

  4. Just became Elite Plus Captain's club member.  Please help me understand the -- "Complimentary cappuccino, latte, tea, expresso" -- perk. The person I just spoke with at the Captain's Club could not answer my questions.

Does this apply to coffee you may get at Cafe Bacio?  Is there a limit to the number of drinks that you may have in a day?

Any input you may have would be appreciated .

    Thanks

  5. Northern Aurora -- would appreciate your response to several questions as we would like to make an early (11:30 am) flight back to the states -- we are scheduled to arrive at 6:30 am and would walk off carrying our own luggage.

    (1)  How long did it take to go through customs?

    (2)  Were taxis readily available from the port?  How long did it take to get to Haneda?

    (3)  Long lines for security?

    Thanks for your response

  6. Will passengers need to go through or customs/immigration again upon arrival in Yokohama.  Our cruise is stopping at Busan with the next stop as Hakodate, where I understand we will need to be processed before being allowed to exit there.

Our cruise is scheduled to arrive at 6:30 am and would like to make one of those 11:00 am flights back to the states.

    Thanks

  7. We are on currently.  We were allowed one reservation per speciality prior to boarding.  On the day of boarding we were able to book two additional restaurants and have been able to add two more since.  Thus going to each twice.  We have also been approached on several days to see if we wanted to book a speciality restaurant. Additional reservations are available if you are flexible.

  8.  We are new to Oceania and  considering including air thru Oceania for our June, 2021 cruise.    Several questions for regular Oceania cruisers.

    (1)  Can we select our own flights or does Oceania pick for you?

    (2)  Can  you book premium economy?

    (3)  Can we fly in a few days before?

    (4)  Can we eliminate air from the reservation at a later date before final payment?

    (5)  Do you pay for the air when booking or at final payment?

Thanks for your response.  It is appreciated.

  9. On 8/8/2020 at 7:46 PM, Flatbush Flyer said:

If anything, you might see the O tour prices go up if for no other reason than the need to reduce group sizes as part of their Covid plan. Or, if they leave the prices as is, you'd be getting a smaller group experience at no additional cost.

That said, and with the understanding that private group tours may usually cost less than the ship tour's, note that there is a way to reduce that ship cost.

Firstly, taking the most expensive of the available O Life tours (e.g., <$200 pp and not OE, OS, etc) effectively doubles the value of your O Life perk. And, since your O Life tour number can be counted against the minimum YWYW program requirement on your cruise, you can then purchase enough other non-O Life tours to hit the YWYW minimum and get a 25% discount on them.

We often do this (and may still do select private tours for some ports) and will definitely continue the practice at least as long as Covid prevention remains "job 1."

Flatbush Flyer or any experienced Oceania cruiser.

We are new to Oceania. Could you please explain "O life tour number can be counted against the minimum YWYW program"    and while we understand your first statement about "most expensive of the available O Life tours doubling the perk, we are confused about the what the "YWYW program" is and how it works.    Any assistance you can provide is appreciated.  Thank you

  10. New to Oceania.  Looking at veranda room on Marina for June of 2021.  Here's the question for Oceania regulars -- Is WIFI included if you take the Cruise only option?  Thanks for your reply
