  1. I went direct to Celebrity. He said it still is the $11.50 on board today but will increase in four days so I you why wait and pay more if you're sure you are going to do it anyway? Although, he said if I changed my mind, I could back it out and get full refund prior to sailing. Also, they did allow only me to upgrade to premium alcohol package. My DH was able to keep the classic package,

  2. Called my agent at Celebrity today to discuss pricing on upgrades of both 1-2-3 Go Classic Alcohol Package and Classic Non- Alcohol Package for our upcoming cruise. Wanted to upgrade the kids from classic because they love the virgin piña coladas and daiquiris. Asked if I could do for same price on boat and also same price on boat for upgrade to Premium Alcohol Package? He said they were told that in four days the price on board will be $2.00 per day more for non-alcohol and $5.00 per day for upgrade to premium alcohol package. So I did it today on the phone because it will save me on the two adults and two kids $98.00! Not a huge amount but enough for a specialty dinner. Just thought I'd share what I was told. Hope he was accurate, but I'm sure he is, because he is very efficient and I always book through him

Hope this helps and Happy Sailing!

  3. Sailing on Celebrity Summit in May and there will be six of us. We are doing Select Dining and I would love a table either on the railing or a window. Are there any six tops on the railing or window or just in the center of the room?

Can we reserve one in advance of boarding the ship?

Can we reserve one as soon as I get on the ship?

Or, after first night, can we request the same table for the duration of the cruise?

    Thanks!

  4. We always go on the May 25th Memorial Day cruise. Just the right amount of kids and weather good in Bermuda. Because of the holiday, my son only misses 4 days is school and by then school is pretty much over except the silliness.

  5. The Tpool has jets and minerals and is warm and wonderful and kid free. I love kids and I bring my 13 year old with us, but it is nice to have an adult only escape.

The teen X club is the best. My son loved the kids program on Celebrity more than any other line we have sailed with. The counselors really connect with the kids and the group is generally small enough to make all the kids feel welcome.

We sail again to Bermuda, out of NJ, May 25th and I can't wait

  6. When we were dining in the MDR on the formal night when they served Lobster Tails, I requested Surf N Turf. Our waiter, Wa Wan said that he would bring the lobster first, then once I started eating it, he would order the steak ? He said he could not give me both at once??? I thought I would be able to have them at the same time, not one now and one later. Has anyone else ever tried to order two entrees and experienced this strange occurrence? We are going again in May and need done input on how to do this particular combo and also if I wanted to try two entrees or appetizers. Thanks!!
