So the airlines just switched our flight from Fort Lauderdale to Miami our hotel is in Fort Lauderdale so now what is the best way to get from Miami to our hotel in Fort Lauderdale at 9 tomorrow night. Really frustrating because now that they changed our flights it's going to cost me more money

We will be in Nassau in a month and were thinking about wondering throughout the shops outside the port area. Then make our way to Junkanoo beach for a coulpe hours. We did this 3 years ago and loved it. It is still safe a a couple to walk this distance with all the crime going on?:confused:

Whats the best option to get to FLL for a 5:45am domestic flight? We will be staying at the Bahia mar Double Tree off sea breeze blvd.

Just booked our FIRST carnival cruise on the Splendor out of Ft Lauderdale June 4th. Its a 6 day eastern caribbean with ports every day except the last which is a sea day!

Looking for any and all advice and info on this Ship/Cruise line! :confused:

A2 yea we are out of grand junction so flight are a little high. I read somewere 3 months out gets the best price. So i was curious if it was true.

Thanks for the input. I assumed it was just people that love to complain. But with so much of it i though id check. Any input on the Glory from recent travels? It really did have the best ports. And 1 more then ncl or royal because of halfmoon being in the mix.

We are taking our FIRST Carnival cruise in oct on the Glory. We were super excited to try a new line as we have only been on NCL. But seems all i read on the FB page and other review sites is negative feedback!! Is carnival really become that bad? It cost us alot in airfare to make these trips from Colorado and im kinda worried now...[emoji27]

Quick question for a newbie. How do you get liquor home if you buy it on the ship? Is it safe in the luggage?

Yes i found one next to bayside market place. I believe next to holiday inn. It was called lemington i think. It was $86 but looked a little rough

Great thanks. Yea ive found some hotels on the shuttle lists. I just dont know the area this is out first time in fll. So not sure whats around the hotels and how easy the access is. Our last one we stayed at hotel close to bayside market place. But we were flying into mia also

im going crazy trying to plan out trip in Oct2015. We fly into FLL at 3:50 on Friday OCT16th. We were going to shuttle to MIA and hang out at the biscayne market place by the port. but $250 a night isn't worth it for a night in a hotel precruise. Can some one tell me a good place to stay close to FLL were SAS will pick up the next day to shuttle to the port. We prefer some were that has an area we can walk around and grab dinner with out a taxi. is this even an option?:eek:

looking to book an inside cabin on the glory. im thinking deck 7 because most say its the best. is there much diff. in forward,aft,midship? as far as rough seas and such. only our 2nd cruise so all info is helpful

We have never cruised with sea days. Only a cruise with a port ea day

Are sea days worth having. Or is it better to have 1 less sea day and one more port. That seems to be our hold up lol

Flights are both about the same. I leave out of CO so for the most parts thats a draw. Other then TX is $100 pp cheaper. But thats part of the $550. What is there to do on sea days
