  1. Yes, for sure. The Main Dining Rooms will provide you with styrofoam containers. The other food serving areas like the pizza bar, grill, International Cafe and buffet don't really have trays that you can carry your food on. So, if you plan to get more than one plate of food and drink, bring along the tray that is on top of your fridge, and bring an extra pair of hands to open the door. Those late night snacks put the inches on quickly. As they always say, wear your tightest clothes on the first day.

Do you think I can get an extra tray if I ask the steward?

  2. I've never cruised before and I'm really curious.

I know you can order room service anytime, but I was wondering if you can bring food back to your cabin from anywhere on the ship. Sometimes, I like to steer clear from the masses and enjoy my food alone, in front of the tv, or now maybe out on the balcony.

  3. I will be going on my first cruise next year and I'm gathering all my "must have" items. I've read everywhere that the walls are metal and I can use magnets to hang things. I was wondering if the walls in the shower stall are metal too? I'd like to hang a magnetic mirror. If not, I can always add suction cups to the mirror.

  4. The cruise shower caddy from Favors By Serendipity has three velcro straps that attach to the bar in front of the soap alcove. It's perfect for cruising because it doesn't take up any room in the tiny shower. Plus it comes with strong suction cups if you want to use those. I love mine.

I forgot to mention, I'm making my own caddy. The one from Serendipity is too small for my DH and myself.

*I'll post a photo of my caddy once it's made.
