Thanks - I wondered if it would be like the departure lounge which thankfully it isn't. None of the other ships we've been on (Star, Coral) had one hence the question.

I've tried searching on the board but can't find information about the VIP/Concierge Lounge on the Regal/Royal and soon to be Majestic. Nothing on Princess either that specifically says what is in there or what makes it special (as opposed to going to guest services). Can anyone who has been in there let me know.
Thanks

I guess this is another platinum/elite benefit available in North America only. When I lived in Canada I used to get one but since returning to the UK no atlas. Does it really cost Princess that much that they can't offer it to all?
-
I too am looking for a pre-cruise hotel but the search has brought up nothing so I'll try going down the list. This is the first time a search has produced nothing.
-
I find it annoying that the Princess.com website assumes everyone looking at it is in North America so the numbers are 1-800. When booking a recent cruise I needed to call with a question and thought great finally a call to Princess that is a freebie (as it was in Canada) but got the message that it couldn't be connected so then I knew it wasn't applicable to the UK. Calls to Princess over here aren't free.

We like to fly a day early and wonder if going straight to Civitavecchia is better than staying in Rome. If we stay in Rome we'll probably take a ship transfer otherwise how easy is it to get to Civitavecchia? BTW we don't speak Italian.
Thanks

Glad to hear it isn't likely. When we heard the comment we looked at each other in disbelief.

On the Vision cruise TV show there was a comment that the Majestic Princess will have go karts on a top deck!! Can anyone confirm or deny it? There is nothing in the current information about the Majestic on the Princess website so I'm wondering if he got it mixed up with a Carnival ship.
Thanks

Go to your cruise without logging in (as if you haven't booked it on the planning page). There is a tab for weather there.
-
Covert the document using Zamzar then you can manipulate and print multiples on one page.

I'm allergic to crab (okay I could eat it but would be blotchy and red for a day) but I haven't come across hush puppies before. Are they offered anywhere else apart from Crab Shack?
-
It doesn't work in the UK as cruise personalizer doesn't let you add information about non - Princess flights.
-
Having used Princess Insurance when I was living in Canada I would really like it to be available in the UK - that is all I'll say about it (and the fact they say it is a Platinum benefit which it no longer is)
-
I always take it out on the last night and take it home a souvenir.
-
The email address works fine. They also sent an email saying it was applied. Forgot to say it was fast - I did it last Friday and got the confirmation email on the Monday.
-
They are usually waiting for you at baggage claim. EM
Unless they are off getting coffee as happened when we flew in from Heathrow. At least we had done it before so weren't panicked. I let Princess know after the cruise and they couldn't care less

Per person☺

Typical Princess - don't answer the question asked
-
No real change in the menu

You need to live in North America to get the insurance. When I was living in Canada I got it, but over here it is not available (just like other things Princess offers in North America - Princess credit card for one). Customer/guest relations also don't respond to questions which they always did when I had them in Canada.
-
I know I am late onto this but does anyone know if they still offer hot chocolate it isn't on the new menu that was posted (a search only showed one person asking about hot chocolate and no reply)
Thanks

As Alicomp said last day of the cruise (when Sabatini's was open) cash in an envelope. The people in there really do go the extra mile (more so than the steward in our opinion though he too got a cash envelope)
-
We are in a suite (up and down from Vancouver) so yes we will enjoy it -just hoping the Star does it on disembarkation days. The breakfast delivered on disembarkation day to the suite is okay just not up to Sabatini's.
Anyone who has been on the Star recently (especially Alaska when the season starts) please put us out of our misery wondering if we'll be able to enjoy the breakfasts.
-
I was just reading that some ships now have breakfast in Sabatini's on disembarkation day. Seen as how we are doing a B2B we'll have 2 of them (disembarkation days even thought we'll only disembark once) on this year's cruise.
Comments will be appreciated. I know we can get breakfast delivered on disembarkation day but it would be so much nicer to continue to have breakfast there during disembarkation.

That's why I mentioned the Majestic. We are booked in May next year and are close to it. Great to hear about the cappuccino though hopefully there are lattes and drinking chocolate too.
