Flossie: I wanted you to know that I was not able to pass your message along to our mutual friend in early December - she was not on the short cruise. I don't have any more information. FYI and xox

you're right - my mistake. Only '24 and '25.

Did you look in Regent Roll Calls/Mariner?

I wonder if the people in the Penthouse with the damage to the area around the sliding door, pointed it out to the Staff: Concierge or General Manager?
When I see a situation which needs repair, I say something and it is repaired very quickly. If nothing is said, nothing is likely to happen.

Hi Carolyn,
Thanks for this - I thoroughly enjoyed it all - pictures and report.
I hope your drive home has been easy and that you both have a safe and healthy 2023!

Hi Carolyn,
I'm enjoying your blog and pictures as well . . . .and will for the next few weeks!

I'm very disappointed that the Pool Grill will be closing for dinner. It is a lovely place to eat on a warm night and it affords a place to be where dressing up is not required.
I also agree with the comment about it being an issue on Navigator due it the ship's limited venues.
It is also nice to have the choice on long crises: World Cruise, Grand Voyages for example.
PLEASE RECONSIDER

The Holiday decorations were to arrive in Barcelona but did not. They did come in Miami so the Staff has done a good job getting them up all around the ship in the past couple of days. Good work everyone!

I know you're docked - I can see it on the Port of NY map. Progress. I hope all goes well and that you'll be on your way soon.

Too early. 8am is more reasonable.

Carolyn,
Basically, you do stand but I'm sure if you ask for a stool - the day before the class if possible - one will be there for you.

I walked fro the ship to the Ocean Terminal/Mall and got tickets and took the tour - very good/worth while! We were docked in Leith.

PS: I am glad to see Terry Breen's name listed and hope she will be on more trips going forward. She too, is a great asset on board!

Mike,
Based on what I could find on the list of lecturers, Terry Bishop is the only one on board during the entire Grand Voyage on the Navigator, and he is on for the last 2 weeks.
(I will also say I am always thrilled to sail with Terry and Julie - they are both great additions to any cruise.)
I assume this is not really the case but I had hoped that if this information has been added to the web site, it have more correct information and also, that it would be easier to access.
Good luck going forward in creating a more helpful and user-friendly site.

my understanding is that it depends on where the ship is located. The current rules are from the CDC.

The knife skills class was not demonstration.
The classes at the moment on the Explorer - I don't know about Splendor - are demonstration and as I understand, there is no charge.

The knife skill class is not a demonstration but we did not cook anything - just learned/practiced knife skills.

Hi. Has anyone done the knife skills class? Wondering if food is served at that class. I didn’t realize the class was at 4 pm when I booked my dinner reservation at Pacific Rim for 6:30.
Yes, I did the class on the Explorer a couple of weeks ago. Excellent class. No food is made - different than the menu classes. You'll be able to go to your 6:30 Pacific Rim dinner - it will be a little tight but you'll be OK.
