  1. You don't need a liquor package, you can actually bring on board all the liquor, wine, and beer you would like.

The mini fridge in your room will be stocked with soda and bottled water, wine and beer plus some cocktails are available in the concierge lounge on the new ships at no charge.

Do you have to pay for what's in the min fridge? Bring alcohol on board would save me a lot of money.

  2. It's the intangibles that make it "worth it" for us. Not having to wait in line to board, take care of tops, your folio at the end of the cruise, photos. The extras like having a full hot breakfast brought to our suite every morning, the guarantee of getting a cabana, Palo and Remy, shore excursions we want, the spa times we want, etc.

Add in the little things like a DVD player and movies to borrow, a nice stereo system, lot's of extra space, a jetted tub, upgraded amenities such as toiletries and bedding, the list goes on.

I guess it comes down to. Any things. If you are the type who will use the room to sleep and shower, maybe, maybe not. If it will break the budget, then no way. If it fits your travel budget and you don't mind paying for intangibles, then yes!

Thank you! Looking forward to being spoiled. Like the idea of having joy breakfast delivered to the room as the wife dose not eat breakfast. I would much rather eat it on the balcony with some vodka and oj and enjoy the view

  4. Question for people who had the packages in the past.

Does the package include beer in the bottle or will it be in a cup?

I'm glad they made the change stating that individuals can get the pkg and it doesn't have to be all. I don't drink so this kept my husband from getting the package last time we went on the cruise.

The few times I did get beer. It was both draft and bottle. Just depends on the beer.

  5. See, here's the thing. If you leave the autotip in place, you are totally covered. If you remove it as suggested by a previous poster, then you need to figure what to tip at EVERY venue (including breakfast and lunch) in order to cover everyone who serves you. Kinda dumb IMO, but if you do want a figure, just divide the recommended gratuity by three and leave that PER PERSON for each meal. E.g., if the recommended amount is $8 per person per day, then you might want to leave $2 per person at breakfast and lunch and $4 at dinner - so your group of five would be leaving a total of $20 for dinner.

Does that sound stupid? Yeah, I thought so - better to just leave the autotip in place.

So if I leave auto tip on. And leave a extra 5 or 10 after dinner that would be fine
