I had an amazing PVP for many years with Carnival. I booked multiple cruises with him, but unfortunately he moved on. : ( Since then I became a TA and it made me think that it probably would have been a good alternative route since they can book anything. Either or, once you find someone you are comfortable with, stay with them.

My bills usually range 500-1500 depending on how long the cruise is an excursions. I also usually get the drink packages and spa package.

Agreed... experience for yourself. People are all different and people like different things.

For those use the spa services like massages and such during your cruise, about how much do you typically spent? This trip is a birthday gift of relaxation and I'm thinking of gifting spa treatments.

Over $100 at least. Most spa services are over $150 unfortunately.

My first cruise was with a group that took over maybe 75% of the ship. We got into all the private events and so it worked out really awesome for us because we got a lot of their amenities for nothing. Granted this is not the case always, but some groups welcome outsiders.

I have a group planned for January-February 2015 for cat lovers called meow meow cruise. Who am I kidding, it is for crazy cat lover people. I do not see us as an issue for other cruisers, and do not think it would be bad if people knew about us. The more the merrier!

If you pick a guarantee you might get an upgrade, but it is rare so do not expect it because it is a gamble.
