S&J, any refresh other than Owner’s Suites? This will be our first sailing on Riviera and we are hoping that she will live up to our previous Marina Oceania Suite experience. 

Hummm, reading through older threads it looks like the refreshing may only apply to Oceania Suites. 

I asked my TA about Riviera when making final payment on my May cruise this week. She reported that Riviera will be in drydock in Barcelona for 10 days. I doubt that 10 days is sufficient time for the Oceania NEXT upgrade but I am happy that she will be freshened !

What kind of morning weather can I expect in Prince Rupert in early August? I have a morning kayak expedition booked and I am concerned that it might be too foggy, rainy, chilly? Yes, I know that PC is in BC but it is a port on my Alaskan cruise

I can't believe that there have been 372 views on this post and only one reply (very much appreciated ) to my legitimate questions. After readings this forum for three years I realize that this forum is no longer about helping fellow cruisers, but instead only about complaints.

I an considering booking a PH2 on an Alaskan sailing. It looks as if all of the aft PH2's are under the Terrace Cafe and some of the fore suites are adjoining. In either case I would be concerned about noise. Is noise an issue in these locations? Also, how far back do you need to be to have a view that will not be obstructed by the bridge? And lastly, since Oceania offers a Junior Explorer Program , are there may children aboard?

Has the booking problem been resolved?

We are an early-mid 50's couple together 28 years looking to take our first cruise (probably) next year. We were going to plan for our 30th anniversary in 2015, but found we've gotten pretty excited about the idea and may go in 2014 instead. We are currently "semi decided" on Oceania Marina "Princes & Palace" Barcelona - Lisbon in Sept 2014. Questions: Have any of you been on Oceania? Thoughts? Acceptance of a lesbian couple? We aren't overt, but don't want to run across anyone who would be negative. We chose Marina because we're big foodies and want to explore the Mediterranean. Any insight would be helpful. Thanks!
