  1. HI all,

I have early dining on Beyond at 6:00 pm. How does this work with the 4 different main dining rooms? I must have had any time dining when I was on Edge and was able to make reservations at the different restaurants online. This time I can’t because I’m locked into a dining time.

  2. Hi all,

I’m going on Voyager to Canada/New England on October 23. I am late to the game of shore excursions since I have been busy with something else for the past 6 weeks. Well of course the majority of Royal Caribbean shore excursions are shown as sold out and slim pickings are left. Not sure how Royal handles this. Are they really sold out or will more slots open up once I’m on board? Trying to plan this cruise now.

    TIA

Not sure if you are aware that booking the dining packages you get a special menu to order from, not the whole menu.

I wanted to do the trio package but after husband saw no rib eye on the steakhouse menu we decided to pass.

I will have to research that. I have not committed to anything. I understand how your husband feels about ribeye!

THANKS for the response. But I do have to laugh at the yacht club... no I’m not in yacht club. Now I just have to figure out if it’s worth the $$ to get the meals. I am use to getting free/freeish specialty dining with NCL.

  5. Hi all - I have a cruise booked on Seashore for 14 days. I am considering adding the specialty dining before the cruise. Is it cheaper to add it then or is it the same price on the ship? I was thinking of doing the 4 restaurant package, but I think they book when the meals are. I just wouldn’t want all my meals scheduled for the first seven days. I would want them spread out over 2 weeks. Anyone have experience with any of the above situations? TIA

I'm so glad to find a discussion that mentions the MyVegas rewards. I'm thinking of using my points for a free 4 night cruise but I've been wary. It's a relief to hear that it actually works. Does anyone know how it applies to traveling solo? When you booked, did the reward cover the cabin or the person?

On a separate note, I can't find prices for the excursions. Anybody have a link?

    Thanks!

The reward is for up to 2 people, but you can use it solo. You pay the port fees, taxes and tips for 1 person. They will probably put you in a balcony cabin.

Anybody knows if in September on the Seashore there are some rock/funky bands, similar to  "off record.. on the rocks"? (a really great band that used to play on the Meraviglia ship).

I don’t know… but that band made my cruise last September on Meraviglia!

Hi Heather,  I have the offer on my chase card but I want to be sure the gift card deal worked for you. Did you get that notification that you used the offer? Do you see the statement credit pending yet? Just want to be sure it works on giftcards.

Yes it works on gift cards. I already have my $40 credit

We will be there with the Liberty of the Seas sailing from Galveston June 26 2022. I'm looking for the same info so I'll keep an eye on this thread. I'm not sure why there isn't more info on beaches. We don't want to see sting rays, we don't want to play with turtles, we don't want to stroll around town spending money on junk we will never use. All we want to do is lay out on a beach and have access to dinks, food, and restrooms.

Ha I could have posted this verbatim! I’m so disappointed my fav beach club is permanently closed.

OK...I know this is a stupid question, but do you get a physical gift card that you bring with you?  Or is it OBC in your account?

You can buy a physical card or a digital one. I just sent myself a digital gift card. I’ll use it on something with carnival in the future.

    And in addition....I assume it's a one time $40....NOT $40 per $100.

    Am I correct?

While it doesn’t really say, I can’t imagine it being used endlessly to get $40 back for every $100 you spend. It should be a one and done.

All the rewards seem to be for cruises out of Florida. Do they ever offer discounts/free cruises for elsewhere?? Or onboard credit?

MSC only sails out of Miami and Port Canaveral (in the US) right now. Later they will be out of NYC. No, I haven’t seen them offer OBC.

I also just got a cruise through MyVegas for Sept. (only paying taxes and port fees, under $200, I believe)

I think you are assigned an interior room and pretty sure you can upgrade later. I'm not sure about the price difference. When I call to book the cruise and pay, I'll ask about upgrading at a later time and the prices

I got a large balcony when I got my free MSC cruise a couple of years ago.

I play MyVegas, my Vegas Facebook, pop, Konami, and MGM. I run them on auto spin.

Make sure you are also playing myvegas blackjack and bingo or you’re losing out on loyalty points.
